  • This is my favourite ad of all time hahah.

  • Mr Somerset, Pat, Luke or whoever you are at the moment, be made aware A Current Affair and Today Tonight current affairs programs are right on to you and next time you call up even as some woman, be rest assured you are fooling nobody. And Roger Climpson will not be doing a news round up on Sky despite your constant badgering.

  • Another Phil Somerset production. Wonder if he paid the talent, would be a first if he did. Now he is presenting the Victor Chang TV ad. That will do their reputation a lot of good. Not.

  • As one would recall Mr Somerset was trying to plug another one of his commercials called Veinaway with Brian Wenzel and Joyce Jacobs (AKA Esme from Country Practice). Would be curious to learn if Mr Wenzel and Ms Jacobs were paid by this Somerset creature who, apparently also has a side line buying and selling prestige vehicles.

  • i am the chief of the bedroom police, this ad was just a warning. Next time i see you going that fast i am going to have to take it away....... FOREVER...... PENUS????

  • *Sigh* Brian Wenzel :P

  • Could someone upload the longer version of this ad? The one with the judge?

  • come on how can they banned this ad

  • Australia censors a lot of stuff...search about their websites blocking/censorship list..it had to be secret, but happily it isn't.

In censor they trust..for your own "good" ;-) !

  • Ok... Lets just set the record straight...

I dont think this ad was meant to offend, hurt or humiliate anybody. I understand that some people may have felt that way about the ad, but I feel as though it simply highlighted an issue, many men suffer from, and are humiliated to ask for help...

I dont like the other advertising AMI does - but I think this TVC was clever, and discussed a serious personal issue in a light hearted, relaxed way.

I wouldn't have been in the commercial otherwise...

  • That is a fine statement but the adverts ami are doing is over the top. for example the first time i saw this add it was 3:30pm how many kids would of seen it.

and second their bright yellow billboards saying want longer sex fight premature ejaculation today call us at ami...

i mean come on this is going overboard way overboard.

  • Totally agree... Totally agree that their billboards are over the top.

The reason why I did it, was because we were told that the TVC would air STRICTLY after 9.30pm.... But I guess they were given an M rating, so it could be showed earlier. We weren't notified.

Agreed about some of their marketing being too much - and I dont agree with it. The media has attacked Brian over his participation in it... But actors are like everyone else. When the phone rings with a paying job, you take it..

  • hahaha i know that guy!!!!

  • Yes Nick, I know you do....

  • Was that Frank Gilroy from "A Country Practice"? LOL

  • LMFAO

  • isn't it funny how the ad in aussie was pulled off the screen, and yet we see ads for kid's nappy's on the screen get that band, and that dumb ass man telling us about super-boring old fart, he was the national head guy for the bank-robber i say

  • what the hell did you say?

  • i don't know either-having a brain snap moment- sorry.

  • these doctors are so low, they will do anything to get money. shame

  • i got a friend who really enjoyed this ad .. he likes it .. loves it .. and wanted to open up his own ad agency ..ahhh

  • What's the big deal with "premature ejaculation"? Guys can come more than once, and the second time usually take a lot longer. I'm sure doctors, drug makers have called it a problem just to gather business.

  • You have really no idea what you're talking about....

  • i agree we can but we get sleepy after

  • lol oh wow, how can they get away with that on tv? lol

  • Same way they can get away with ads for herpes or erictile disfunction.

  • Ohh no!! Not before me!

  • Hey that's the copper from "A Country Practice"!!! :D

  • get it banned? I think it's funny.... Better than those horrible urinary ones you see at midnight when you can't sleep o_O

  • The ASB banned this ad beause they said it made suffering from premature ejaculation akin to committing a criminal offence. Jeeezus.

  • The was funny.
