The rewrite of Orbiter will be very drastic, and will allow for ports to be written specifically for the target devices. Furthermore we are trying to make it easier for developers to write orbiters for target devices such as Android.
So yes, it will be eventually ported, with native UI.

The ONLY thing that is missing for LinuxMCE is a Android App for Orbiter!

@Scania73 Last I checked, there were two Android Orbiter apps that use Proxy Orbiter.
I am also working on a native port of DCE to Java, as well.

The tablet is a DT Research WebDT 366, which is running our Orbiter software. It turns the tablet into a full remote for LinuxMCE.
