I have a human custom hero that can kill ANYONE.He can KILL SAURON with ONE hit and NO handicap too.My custom hero is bad ass.In fact I tested out aragorn vs sauron and a level 10 Aragorn can kill sauron with using no handicap.You have to understand that sauron is designed to do lots of damage against armies, not heroes.My custom made hero is powerful but can't do as good as sauron against armies.It's all about specialization.There is no standard of power for heroes.

@IRussian007 Means how often you play the race. You might play it and win which increases your level on it, thus increasing your skill at that race too. Thats how brutal opponents kick ass.

guys it's the campaign... it's not unreasonable to say that Gimli was perhaps 'boosted' because he's the campaign Gimli, not the stock Gimli that you get when playing a skirmish game. that Gimli is much more powerful than the normal Gimli so this is actually quite possible. in fact, if the difficulty was set to hard or something then i can almost guarantee this to be true.

seriously, you say there was no handicap, but i can tell you that if there were no handicap sauron would have stamped gimli into the ground. Its a battle of about 4000 HP against 15000, it is impossible for an unweakened sauron to loose this, and im speaking with my own experience.
