The object of the game is to predict how many seconds it will take your car to get to the finish line, then try to run as close to that number as possible without going quicker, or "breaking out." The driver who comes closest is the winner. Handicap racing allows cars of different speeds to race one other because the slower car gets a head start.

See, evo's are just for people that have big wallets. STI's you can still do significant upgrades to and feel a little bit more like YOU won the race instead of your wallet. All in all both cars are very fast for stock cars.

@iJerm No problem. Overall id go with the Subaru as well. I have an 06 STI and love it to death. I bought mine last summer used with 75,000 miles on it and only paid 15k. Evos are even cheaper. Both are great cars but the Subaru overall is the better choice in my opinion even though the evo will be slighty faster stock and has better handling. With the STI you get 95% of the performance of the evo but get a much better interior and it can handle a lot more hp gain compared to the evo

each car puts dials in a min ET and they both race to get as close as possible to their own ET

the car which gets the closest without going under their dial in ET wins.

they are launched at different times so their dialed in ET's will be the exact same at the finish line.

who ever gets their first wins (without going under their dial in time, thats an automatic DQ)
