По-моему, Гамлет не собирался " служить людям", это уже перехлёст. Что ему эти люди? Он любил отца и решил за него отомстить. Это и есть Гамлет. Трагедия его в одиночестве, все ополчились против него кроме Горацио.

@parfy1000 Не совсем так. Гамлета поразила мысль, что времена изменились настолько, что брат оказался способным убить брата, а мать лечь в постель с убийцем мужа. Гамлет стал решать вопрос чем может выправить он "этот вывих" и понял, что только ценой своей жизни (монолог). В этом трагедия и парадокс Гамлета. Жизнь невозможно достойно прожить без уплаты цены. А цена - смерть. Дальше уже претворение его плана в жизнь до той точки, где сама жизнь превращается в молчание.

Каждый трактует по-своему, Гамлет в объятиях с матерью как с любовницей, Офелия - конкурентка Гертруды и тд. Разгул какой-то.
