the night shift gas station attendent told me that these plants are really intergalactic communication depots,,, now i know it sounds crazy but it makes sense cause the guy at the cigarette store told me hes seen ufo's and has picked up strange signals on his radio shack custom built radio,,,soo it kinda makes sense you know!!
What you say it's really interesting!! I would like to know more about. I wish we could be in touch? If you are agree just sign up on YouGreenReporter I just signed up.. (it's kinda of new green social network dedicated to green people) I will add you to my green network and there we can comunicate easly!
The biggest obstacle to solar power: Democrat politicians. Dianne Feinstein helped block the construction of a huge solar plant in the Mojave desert, based on the very specious claim that it would block the migration of desert tortoises. Now what's the solution?
Great video! Solar Power will become a great energy resource in the future! Here in Hawaii - we have lots of sun and many people are choosing wind turbines, and solar panels as a great alternative to oil, coal and natural gas! Clean energy is the future of the world! See pristinesun . com/what-we-do.html for information on how to save 20% on your electrical bill every month & get solar panels installed for free for your business or non-profit company in any state in US! Aloha & Mahalo!
What should be built is a saltwater pipe from the Pacific,,,use the electric during the day to pump salt water uphill to be desalinated in either greenhouses to sprayed at32deg.&below to make snow or slush. The salt can be collected &used for other purposes. The west certainly can use the fresh water for agricultural or residential uses.
These 10 MW towers aren't operational anymore. They were out in the Mojave desert near Barstow, California. The SEGS 1-9 parabolic thermal solar plants also seen in this video are nearby. No need for silicone photovoltaic panels.
I saw that. The tower was off and only the parabolic thermal solar plants were working. Now the tower and all the mirrors are used for solar space observatory science.
With the price of oil/gas at record highs, I don't know why the desert and high plains are dotted with more solar power stations. I'm about 35 miles to a town of 3500 and their power system is all solar, as is mine. With 10 panels and 2 wind generators, I have enough electricity for a small refrig, 2 freezers, TV, computer and of course satellite Internet.

More info would have been good, like location, power generation etc.
I have a solar powered house and was hoping this was some usable tips on increasing my own power supply.
