Loe it! Love it! Love it! At last I have found this song. Brill memories of Radio Caroline -259, South coast listening. AND the Radio Caroline Road Shows!!!
I also heard that there is a re-release version made in the 1990s, with the lead vocals sung by a woman. I think this is not anywhere on youtube yet...?
Nice song. When was this? 1978? That those horns parts remind me a LOT of the Shirley Bassey version of "Something" (or is it even John Miles "Music" ;))
excellent memories...i remember ordering this at a local record shop...waited...waited...never came...went into a second hand shop one saturday...IT WAS THERE...FOR 10P...i shook all the way home...it had taken me years to get it...still dont know who this guy really was...any one help me...RIP RNI
who was Peter? Was it Peter Gosling, who wrote it?. The record was originally recorded on a KPM Library disc. Also, at one time, Peter Gosling worked as a BBC announcer.
Peter Gosling wrote & produced the song, but the artist who sang the song was "Peter Hallett".
