@geordielassbex most people use a audio converter to strip the soundtrack from the clip after downloading, then convert it again to whatever format you need. There may be easier ways, but that's what I did.

the song was specially written 4 the show: music by composer mark hinton stewart, lyrics by debbie horsfield (who wrote cutting it.) it's never been released. Shame!

For any James Murray fans, Cutting It, Series 4, is a must see!!! as to whether he sings in the band sequence...I don't know...the band members are also actors, and the whole sequence was probably dubbed...but I've never found a credit for who does that in the series, or who wrote the song/lyrics etc.

as far as I know, the song is called, "Just as I am"....but it was just a construct for the band in the series, Gimme 5, and never released as the singers were actors, not true band members. I have no idea who was the original song writer.

and yes, as far as I know, James does his own singing.

well it's real, in as much as it was written for the show Cutting It, and for the fake Boy Band James/Liam was fronting. But it wasn't released as a single or anything as James is an actor, as were his backing singers, all actors - but able to carry a tune. Oh, and dance.
