This is one of those scare tactic videos, what if, what if, our whole country is going down the drain and the unions aren't going to help. They just have a bunch of lazy people working in them and they take huge wages. That is what destroyed Michigan. Get rid of the unions and everyone get a fair wage, get all the illegals off welfare, then we can get our country back on track.
@gigi23035 How Republican of you. Blame the workers, not the greedy CEO's who out-sourced the jobs. Unions help workers get a fair wage, benefits and safe working conditions. The only way to get the country back on track is for the people to take back their power, which means getting rid of the politicians who want corporate welfare.
Remember, it's not who votes; it's who counts the votes! E-voting is becoming more popular for the sake of efficiency. This also makes it easier to manipulate millions of votes with the press of a button. Dibold was held responsible for vote fraud in parts of Calif., but who's next? This had to a tipping point (during the Bush & Obama administrations) as we took a huge step toward further repression.Maybe pretend paper vote (showing we will not use e-voting)until we have a system that works.
Similar things are happening inCalifornia; supposedly one of the wealthiest states in the nation. Is it a coincidence that other nations of the world are also experiencing austerity from their "govts."Benton Harbor reminds me of Katrina, only without the flood disaster that was waiting to happen.Maybe the Posse Comitatus Act is in order!Any military in or out of the U.S. that is either private or public(since lines are now blurred)should now act to protect the Earth’s ecosystem/inhabitants.
Air Driver: I agree. The film incentive program helped the state from the ground up with new money and jobs.
Box Fedshist: Graholm did her best to bring in new money and jobs into the state. She inherited a big deficit to begin with. She also had to fight large corporations who don't want to pay a living wage, the oil companies whose greed hurt the car industry and federal politicians who had their own agendas.
One way or the other you voted. Granholm taxed you to death. Allowed dis honest price hikes. And let Snyder run a currupt business. You voted dummy! It's your bill never paid. It's not your money as they say.
Snyder needs to rethink his idea of removing the Michigan Film Tax Credit. That has been MONEY WELL SPENT bringing jobs and money from Hollywood here to our own back yard. If he wants to save money, remove any tax credits from those industries THAT SHIP MICHIGAN JOBS OVERSEAS.
