Interesting to note that this was recorded 5 days after the band found out Alan 'Blind Owl' Wilson had committed suicide, he was The Bear's best friend & the soul of Canned Heat and, whilst it was inevitable to happen one day, it broke the Bears heart and pushed him towards the path of self-destruction, a far cry from the cheery dude on this clip. The band had a heavy schedule in Europe & had no time to dwell on Blind Owls passing
