  • @Marocainementvotre

hehehe you're right the land doesn't matter, the people do.

All the jews stayed in Morocco while the Muslims made Algeria. Btw yep, we were the capitol of the Turkish Empire in North Africa and we're very proud, where do you think we get all the beauty? mmmmmm j'adoreeee mes ancestres. The Ottomans were the best thing that happened to the Arabs anyways, right after the Ottomans left the Arab world, Jews settled in Palestine.

  • @Marocainementvotre

    Algeria= 2,381,740 square kilometers

    Morocco= 446,550 square kilometers

  • hahahhahahaha Moroccans are so funny.

  • Moroccan spring rolls

    Moroccan tea

EVERYTHING that's North African is always for some reason only attributed to Morocco! This is bourak! it's probably much more Algerian than it is Moroccan.. just like the tea. we make it much better and less terribly sweet anyways.

  • to @algeriealgerienne

you seem to be very jealous, in fact u algerians people always are. since when you have heard of any algerians tea hahahah very funny story . and bourak , it sounds more like an algerians ray music rather that a dish hahah the only thing that can be attributed to Algerians. everything algerians is in fact stolen from ur asyadkom moroccan culture .you jealous hahahhaha

  • @algeriealgerienne

one more thing since you algrerians are good at everything why do not u watch an algerians video in stead and stop copying us , you silly

  • @algeriealgerienne everything good is moroccan :) deal with with it and go watch algerian video

we know algerians are jealous of everything moroccan! we find jealous algerians in every moroccan video

i never heard of something "algerian" because you don't exist !! before being french, you were turkish and before being turkish you were moroccan!! that's the truth

"algerian cook" is in fact moroccan cook =)

  • @algeriealgerienne Burak is actually turkish! So we got it from the ottoman empire I guess!

  • yummy =) very nice recipe!

  • delicious!!

    im gonna try this :)

    good job

  • wow this seems easy ... all i have to do is follow your video .... thanks a bunch.. a question .. may sound a bit stupid, can i freeze them right before the frying of the rolls???

  • YUM YUM !

  • alia wat if its urgent n i dont have the pastry so how can we make the pastry

  • hi, your channel is amazing, you are a fantastic cook!

one question, how long should i live them in the oven for baking? i don't like frying my food.

  • just 1 question aliah , is that dough pastry...phyllo dough ?

  • It's 'spring roll pastry' it's thicker than phyllo dough. It can be difficult to work with phyllo dough in this recipe. the 'spring roll pastry' is great and you can find it in the frozen section in the supermarket.

  • @lazymuthafukka never ever use phyllo dough; I used it once and it was a nighmare

  • @lazymuthafukka yes i use same w

  • @lazymuthafukka

Nope those are Egg Roll Wrappers ,

You can find them in Asian Market and they need to be kept cold look in the area where they keep things like the Tofu in your normal markets also.

  • I really like the format of your video, nice flow of information, very clear and helpful imagery and simple dialogue!!

The music make me want to start belly dancing again!!

    Favoriting!!

  • Bravo Alia, i really enjoy watching your videos. Insha'Allah, i'll try many of them if not all :))

  • so glad you enjoyed it!

  • love it !!!

  • Yummy!

    getting hungry just watching it!

  • Hi Alia, where can I get the pastry rolls or can they be bought online ? Thanks

  • if you live in the US, you can find it in the frozen section of the supermarket or at a middle eastern store.

  • @ezzenwife

you can make it yourself :-)

send me a message if interested

  • Thank you, Alia!!!

All these spices you Arabs use are from India, not from Morocco.....Samiradiva, u silly girl

  • As far as I'm aware, only turmeric and tamarinds are spices that Arab cuisine attained from India. Everything else, be it olive oil, cumin, lemons, paprika, or saffron, are native to age-old Mediterranean tastes.

  • thanks alia ana bahebak aktar

i just got meerid and love to see your video, it helps a lots.. thank you

    love

    sussana

  • What temperature is recommended for baking them? I'm guessing 350 for about 10 minutes?

  • Wonderful job Alia..you're just amazing ..may Allah bless yea...

  • wow, I enjoy your videos very much! very well done!

    em ze en basef!

    salama,

    Caryl

  • Will definitely try this one, it looks yummy.

    Thanks for the recipe!

  • Are they really Moroccan ? I don't think so.. these are Indian Samosa.. check it out and you'll see :)

  • No....it's not samosa unless you make a pastry dough with yogurt.

  • I'm pretty sure than indian people copied it from Moroccan Cuisine cuz Indian are very famous of copying Arab people ...

  • yeah right!!! We cna all learn from each other, Spring rollas are made all over the world. Don't be so silly...................

  • wow looks

    very delicious.

    mashallah.

    happy ramadan!!!

hope you enjoy the month of blessing.

  • Yum! I must try this for lunch today. Good work Alia :)

  • i'm so glad you do these Moroccan foods..i wanna make my husband feel like he's back home:) thank you so much!!

  • I'm definitely try this one!! thanks again... u make it so easy to do!

  • I like that you mention the healthy cooking method. The filling you made would probably make great burgers too! I love ginger!

  • Almost like the Filipino "Lumpia (shanghai)"

Filling: Ground beef, soy sauce, granulated garlic, black pepper, grated carrots, chopped onion (or substitute with green spring onion).

Filling doesn't need pre-cooking since the rolls themselves are only about as thick as an average adult-sized finger. They are fully cooked after deep-frying.

Wrapper: Same as what you have in your video.

Dip: either garlic-infused apple cider vinegar with pickled jalapenos or sweet & sour sauce.

  • Traditional Filipino Lumpia (shanghai) is made of pork, however... a warning for those who don't eat pork or whose culture forbids consumption of pork.

Thanks for this great recipe, Alia! Simple and savory!

  • in iraq we cook ground beef then we add diced onion and then we add allspices and salt and finally we add parsely. yours looks good too:)
