Good god, no. It's just Sonic with festive colors. I'm not stupid enough to believe that changing a character's colors suddenly creates a cool new character, even though Archie Comics (or whoever "created" him) has lowered itself to that.

It seems that someone continued my work though, because I'm not the one who put that music in there. I don't intend to ask you to remove that video from YouTube or the ROM from your site, but I'd be very interested in talking with whoever put that music in there.

OH... MY... GOD...

Didn't think I'd ever see that again... Allow me to explain. I'm the author of that hack and I started work on it years ago when I was new to hacking ROMs. Admittedly, it sucks, but it was nothing but a test with palette and sprite hacking. Let me tell you, modifying Sonic's top quill into a santa hat in every single of his sprites took ages.

I know excactly who made this. His name was Kuro or Real Sonic Pro as he was first known. His aim was to make sonic look like a christmas tree, Hence the green, Then the santa hack for effect. This was made in december 2002, So It's nearly 6 years old... Wow, I feel old remembering this :)
