I think she was at least better than Chelaru. If the judges took all the deduction they were supposed to take, that includes artistic deductions, Vanessa would have had a bronze.

I stand by what I said: she deserved a medal in the finals. btw, does Vanessa even had a turn in her routine? I was watching and couldn't even find one. Maybe I'm missing something.
Let's be honest, people who don't think Vanessa was robbed of a medal. She stuck all 4 passes and only got a 9.1 from the judges. Mustafina, on the other hand, had some issues with her second pass AND and had an incomplete Memmel turn. She got a 8.966 in execution. That's less than .2 less than Vanessa, who had a nearly perfect routine. She deserved a much higher E score.
@JohnPhilipSousa519 I think it's pretty fair to say that the judges were on something or blind because there was also no way that Mustafina's Amanar was cleaner that Sacramone's Rudi in EF.
@TsubasaDreams I completely agree. I'm so glad Alicia won because I wouldn't want to see someone who can throw a messy amanar win automatically. Aliya's vaults are not that good. They're powerful and difficult, sure, but not clean at all. Alicia's are dynamic, clean, and precise.
@JohnPhilipSousa519 Finally! Someone on YouTube that agrees with me! Also, Ferrari's turn is just a simple full turn at 1:05, the camera zooms in on her face so you can't see what the rest of her body is doing.
thats what i don't like about this scoring system, this was very clean (and a bit underscored). I think that difficulty is important but the execution even more :)
They didn't show her on any American broadcasts and many don't put emphasis on the fact that she had the highest execution in this floor final! What a great routine!
14.600 my arse. That scoring was just out and out wrong.
Beautiful routine, amazing execution and it should have been rewarded.

yes i hope i can,
her first pass where her legs not together,
after her full in (first pass) she did a leap wich was not 180 degrees split.
her double tuck was perfect!
and maby they deduct for a little over-rotation at her 3rd pass.
a small deduction at ther leaps (landing) and het toes where not staright at her double pike.
