Yes original is in Russian and lyrics are about what Ed and Al thought about reviving their mother. I realized this after 5 years, really and I'm still shocked.

@kamuiyang (FMA SPOILERS AHEAD FOR ALL YOU NEWBIES) He was leaving to go west to explore Alchemy more. He wasn't leaving forever, he had just proposed to Winry and she accepted, so obviously they have a future together, as seen in the pictures in the credits of them and their kids. :)
