When I got to the track, i parked in lot 10, which is behind the backstretch. The bus dropped us off at the entrance of the souvenir stalls behind the allison grandstand, and since the souvenir stalls were open in the fenced area of the entrance, they allowed us to sit on the backstretch. Because they weren't sure how many people would show up for the race since it got rained out the night before, and now anybody holding a pepsi 400 ticket could watch the race.
it was so hot that day even in the shade, we were under the backstretch seats.
