About 80% of sony TVs use samsung LCD panels (the other 20% is split between "AUO" and sharp). In terms of build quality, the best audio/visual equipment is made by bang & olufsen, but if u can afford their equipment then u really need to send me some cash :D

Movement of arms should be horizontal and as far as can be slow. The point is to give your brain taking a chance with les information, but it must be the best possible picture quality. There were 3d movies in theater before there was any 3d tv available to the public. 3d isn't a new technology by any means because I remember being 7 or 8 and watching 3d movies in Disney World. The reason the movies began using them recently is becuase they were losing quite a bit of money because people don't go to the movies much. That's why they had to bring back 3d movies and start charging almost 15 dollars for it.

@roblox84 no, maybe i'm wrong... yes 3D has been out for a very long time, but not with TVs, when you see them in theatres, iMaxs etc... that is much different, it takes a TV with a minimum refresh rate of 120Hz to display 3D, iMax and theatres don't use TVs, they use projectors, and depending on the projector, but most are capable of displaying 3D cause they use light, like usually in a theatre light will shine threw a film strip that is revolving, that is much different than how a TV works...
