  • thats very nice!

  • Too cool for the room.

  • look at his face at 2;43

  • useless

  • @ruberband29 how is it useless. not all experiments are for a purpose.

  • what are the chemicals involved in the reaction?

  • how did they do that?

  • haha I remember as a little kid I use to stick my glow sticks in the freezer but when I would wake up they would already be "burnt" out

  • to cool for the room!

  • nice one!

  • i love the old guy

  • hey did you know that if u put a glowstick in the freezer it lasts for who knows how long!!!!!! i figured that out myself!

  • too cool for the room

  • "OH MINE IS BLUE LOOK AT THAT"that was funny

  • 5 people are too poor to afford glow sticks

  • WHY DONT THEY JUST SAY GLOW STICK?

  • who would dislike this

  • @Clayman133 only 8 people that cant see that science can be fun

  • @Clayman133 someone without a childhood.

  • @Clayman133 8 people

  • Hey Steve,

Could you put the jelly marbles in the light stick solution?

  • ugh.. i hate how he says his "s" .. especially at 0:17

  • @TheButterfliesx0x supermarket

  • where can i buy this light sticks?

  • @kategaston supermarcket

  • @kategaston supermarcet

  • @kategaston anywhere, dollar store..I have a dollar store near me that sells 4 like that for 1 dollar!

  • i'm in shock. where can i buy this light sticks?

  • ''Mine is blue, look at that'' LOL

  • Where can I get that spiral thing?

  • i do that! i just stick it in the freezer when i'm done with it, it lasts like, a couple months

  • awesome

  • he spilt the water :/

  • T-virus?

  • i learned this in the 5th grade... some kid stuck his in hot chocolat

  • @marxvlog, he has a video called liquid light where there is a woman there with him. Maybe the woman will explain it. Or look it up online to find the chemical names.

  • What's the point of showing this if you don't name the chemicals? I think anyone with a high school education already knew everything you just said.

  • OOO MINE IS BLUE! hahahahaha

  • Lol he spilled water at 2:42 and u can see it on the desk at 2:45

  • he spilled the water.

  • What chemicals you use?

  • WHERE CAN I GET THE GLOWIN WATER?

  • WHERE CAN I GET THE GLOWIN WATER?

  • I buyed this stuff before when im schooling got people selling it XD

  • dhat really cool:)

  • i tried this but failed

  • 2:43 FAIL!!!!!!!!!! x3

  • ooooo look at mine! lol

  • Microwave for 9 seconds a glow stick. and it works better than the warm water. lol lame aces.

  • 2:55

    T VIRUS!

  • @azerlazer

    so?

  • voice crack @2:00

  • Sorry 821

  • @everfroster901 that would be awesome

  • Steve I have an idea put dry ice in a glass with the chemicals mixed and make boo bubbles!

  • that is so cool how that happened

  • What are the 2 liquids used?

  • @l3abiel3ubbles That depends entirely on what colour you want. There is always hydrogen peroxide. For green you add 9,10-diphenylanthracene. For yellow it's 1,8-dichloro-9,10-bis(phenylethynyl)anthracene . For orange, it's Violanthrone. You can even use certain chemicals that will emit infra-red light!

  • @tonymasons 9,10-diphenylanthracene is used for blue. 9,10-bis(phenylethynyl)anthracene is used for green.

  • @purplemutantas Nurd Rage fan much? or do you do this in your spare time

  • @purplemutantas Can we buy those at Walgreens?

  • gosh, what a bright video. it hurts the eyes

  • they should make a green one and say its uranium

  • I clearly remember these from the 70's. So what year were these segments shot in if he says they came out 25 years ago?

  • hahaha he spilled the water

  • i was so focused on that spiraling crap that when the solar system thing popped out to end the video i got so scared i jumped :l

  • It's a spiral

  • 1 video and i love you already

  • this guys must make the best halloween parties

  • LOL Steve. At first i never understood what electrons and chemicles and molecules really were! Now, thanks to school, I now understand how all of this works. 100/5

  • Hey uhhm can you tell me what you mixed together? like the two glass thingies that has the chemicals inside cus i wanna pour it on a white t-shirt and when i walk in da dark it'd glow :D so it'd be great if you could tell me whut those chemicals were.

  • @AdminWatcha Hydrogen peroxide.

  • it is so cool for the ROOM! XD

  • To cool for the room??? WTF

  • can you re use them?

  • Not bad

  • I hate it when we have to buy the experiments they don't show us how to make ourself grrrrrrrrr!

  • @whitefire615,when you mix two glowsticks, the colors mix together and gives a look like pouring food coloring into water.Done with yellow and blue,it will turn white but with too much yellow, the light will be a bit more on the yellow side rather than pure white.

  • I bough one the thing inside it got on my clothes

  • The spiral thing at the end looks like resident evils t-virus :O

  • Diphenyl oxylate ( and a phosphor ) in the inner tube and hydrogen peroxide ( toilet bleach but a bit stronger ) in the outer tube - IS NOT DANGEROUS OR RADIOACTIVE!!

  • i wonder what happens when u mix two glowing colors?

  • @whitefire615 if memory serves its blue and green to give white.

  • @whitefire615 when you mix together yellow and blue, it makes white....

but that's all the combinations i know right know

  • rofl!! I work the top and you work the bottom, THATS WHAT SHE SAID!!

  • I once bit through a glow stick/necklace and got some of it in my mouth. Will I die of slow suffering cancer?

  • @ScumbagKorain as long as you dont swallow it you should be ok

  • The glow stick contains two chemicals and a suitable fluorescent dye (sensitizer, or fluorophor). The chemicals in the glass vial are a mixture of the dye and diphenyl oxalate. The chemical inside the plastic tube is hydrogen peroxide. By mixing the peroxide with the phenyl oxalate ester, a chemical reaction takes place :]

  • im getting some for my airsoft team, might get handy in a sticky situation during nighttime

  • where can i get that liquid stuff from i want to do a project on it ..

  • "i'll work the top and you the bottom"

    LMAO

    good video 4\5

  • @mex55 hehe

  • @mex55

    lmao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • omg i love what they did with the blue and pink glow. i want those raw materials. x.x

  • that was too cool for the room!

  • on if i new wat the 2 liquids were called

  • It was cool at the end but the beginning was a bit boring

    :( > :)

  • yea i know but the cool thing is is that you can do sooo many things with glowwy water! Like a few days ago me and amanda was watching it then we expirimented with the water from her mini model water fountian and it was glowing purpley pinkish it was sooo cool but i didnt get to keep it in my room

  • awsome!

  • 5 stars!
