how come number nine is Toronto vs Detroit but in series it's East against East and West against West? And the last tme Toronto won the cup was in 1968 I think?

@jorock01 At the time, Toronto and Detroit were in the same conference. It was only after the NHL began expanding that Toronto moved into the Eastern Conference and Detroit remained in the Western Conference. With Winnipeg back in the NHL, though, realignment is apparently coming and Detroit may emerge back in the same conference as Toronto once again. As well, the last time the Leafs won the Stanley Cup was 1967, the year of Canada's centennial.
