if i wanted to put a camera under a train like under a CSX or an amtrak would i be able to do it? how small would my camera have to be?

They aren't. The cars just rest on the wheels. This process makes it easier to replace wheels.

Cause i want to do it but i don"t want to ruin my camera just in case if something hits it?
how did you secure it, just use some rocks?

Uhh my camera cost about $350, and all I did was place it on a tie....Nothing held it down...just gravity
