  • where did you get the condencer?

Also would it work in a 1931 Johnson model oA-55?

    Thanks Jordan

  • @OutboardMotorMan1, I used a new 580321 OMC condenser (fits most 1.5 to 18 hp J/E from the 50s and 60s). I used the strap from a small hose clamp to make a bracket to hold it to the armature plate.

  • How does your water in the tank stay so clear? Mine goes milky white in minutes

  • I dump it every time I use it.

  • @grovel1949 Yeah, me too, but you said you ran it 45mins straight did it go milky then?

  • My 50's motors with underwater exhaust will cloud the water, but this old A-25 has its exhaust above water - so it stays pretty clean.

  • @grovel1949 Ah ok under water exhaust = milky water ok

  • I just got a mod. 200 3.3 yesterday. Sure hope she runs as well as yours when Im done.

  • It should - those old opposed twin Johnsons are virtually indestructable! And I believe the 200 has the P/V cooling - no water pump to worry about.

  • I hope to have a vid soon. had knee surgery today and cant get out in the shop for a few days. Thank God for the net. lol
