I've just never been able to get swept away into the Beth and Philip Romance, They've never fit together in my opinion of course that could just be because I never saw them in the years before this episode when they were together. I just thought that Philip and Harley were made for eachother. But of course there's no greater romance than GusH.
Annie the stuff about Alan doesn't sound like a reasons not to marry him. It's nice of Annie to think she can't give Alan what he wants. Annie sometimes shows she still has a heart.
