If a good squad of 3 or 4 who're well versed in teamwork go back there, not many people expect you to be there/get bored patrolling, so they're not ready for the attack, and then after the first flag's been neutralised, you can split up and capture the other flags and take over that little island.
im always on the 24/7 karkands and theres only like 1 squad trying to get to the other island...it works sometimes but if they go for warehouse and ...that gives the enemy the awareness of where they are, if they get factory they get there armor and there assets and they dont even know they were there, but hey thats BF2 noobs for you, infact im watching a video on it right now on youtube =D

well on the server that i play on well.....the commander only sends one squad and to amazment....the squads actually follow the commanders orders...so its alright but ...its mainly in the squad members, ....so many nubs

I use it more for the landmines and teamwork (repairs), but after this vid (which incidently was a good teacher for me), I started having an appreciation for the weapon. Naturally I also started using the kit a lot more :p

IN my personal experience,the US marine last most round in weak island map. I(PLA) usually drop bunch of men to that tiny island and blow up all american artillery at begining
Most of the time I actually play as either China or MEC, but I found that winning Wake Island with the USMC depends on teamwork from both sides. Get a Blackhawk full with a mixed squad and get a F35 to bomb one of the entrances as a distraction just before the Blackhawk lands to capture, or even go for a sneak round the back to capture the airfield control point. Once the PLA loses one control point and all the US start spawning there, it's all over if the USMC team know how to work as a team.
