@geekfish This guy was awesome and he did this several times, this plane had a thrust vectoring nozzle on the exhaust. He also had another plane that he did passes with at about 2 or 3 feet off the runway pushing 200mph!

Obama didn't cancel it, he doesn't have the kind of power to veto congress. It was dropped for the new, superior F35 joint strike fighter, which the "B" variant has hovering capability.

The Eurofighter is a nice plane but it doesn't have the the F-22's capabilities. The F-22's biggest problem is it's too expensive for the penny pinchers to want to justify when our "enemy" doesn't have any sort of air power. Now I'll stop being sensitive, I just love R/C's.
@675raptor Well, I dunno about Obama...But, on the speed front both birds are pretty even in level flight but EF has a very clear climb rate advantage, due to a better power to weight....To think the "Enemy" has no airpower is a mistake in my opinion, I mean there are about 700 EFs around now?..What models do you fly?..Im into Gas Turbines..Home made....visit my site...?
@EnglishTurbines I'm still a small timer with glow planes, the rate my wife and three kids drain my wallet I'll never be able to afford a turbine, a correctional officers pay WITH a family won't cover it. But I HAD an ARF Ryan STA .40 but due to a bad elevator servo it's no longer with us but I'm still building my P-51 Mustang -- WOW! no comparing the Mustang and the Spitfire were on good terms now!
@675raptor Well, I do Turbines on the cheap so to speak, being an engineer I made a lot of it myself from raw materials.....As for the Mustang, thats a plane I have promised myself I would do one day...I have seen enough Spitfires in the UK to last me a liftime.....lol....:)..I built a control line Mustang many years ago..many years...
