  • just went on this for the first time and IT WAS SOOOO AWESOME... except the fact i kinda got sick after, but it was so worth it

  • I was scared to ride this the first time, then my friends and I found out that I am an adrenaline Junkie -Sigh- Wish I could go back to the days just looking at the Mind Bender scared me... Now if I see it I gotta ride it lol

  • @wakingdarknesslight Hahaha yeah dude! I miss those days, being scared shitless out of my mind then finally going on it and having literally the time of my life ahh gotta love Galaxyland

  • this ride back in 08 i believe a man lost his head. i'm not trying to scare some of you nor lie to you. just thought you guys should know. he lost his head because of the gravitational pull, the engineers who worked on this have fixed that problem though. and yes this is the truth you can search it on google :)

  • @SuPeRBuBbLeYBuBbLeS The hell? No he didn't The only time anyone's been killed on this ride was in 1986, when the crash happened. There's been a clean streak ever since. Also, if you really believe someone can lose their head from gravitational pull, you're and idiot. People have gone through far more gravitational pull without losing their heads

  • @wyv3rn1 k bro chill out no need to name call here, i think i would know i lived in edmonton for 5 years and it was on the news. You can gladly search it on google like i said instead of making this pointless coment.

  • @SuPeRBuBbLeYBuBbLeS I never started name calling, only said what was true; you're an idiot if you believe that. Only five years? I've lived here for far longer, watch the news every night, no such thing ever happened.

Don't worry, I searched it. The only thing that showed up was the 1986 crash.

Again, people can't ' lose their head' from gravitational pull, if that was the case, it'd happen on far more rollercoasters with more g forces than this.

  • @SuPeRBuBbLeYBuBbLeS As well, too much g-force wouldn't take a mans head, but instead cause internal bleeding and probably inner organ failure. A person may have gone unconscious, which is likely, but for someone to get their head torn off, well, that would mean something should have decapitated him. Really, for someone to even DIE on a rollercoaster, it would need to have over 10G to kill them. Also, the reason I seem a little ticked off is because you're sharing false info

  • @wyv3rn1 Die from G-force, sorry

  • i havent been on a rollercoaster in years!!!!!!!!!! :(

  • It's Olympia Looping indoors...

  • fyi it's called mindbender 2nd it was the largets now it's just the largest tripple loop indoor coaster and with the amount of safety add ons and inspections every half an hour it's bot gona crash again for a long while ...but i cant say the for the other rides

  • The mindbender is safe as can be now. Due to thorough checks each morning. But people who go to the casino later at night, there are windows up high from the casino looking at the park, and patrons have seen the ghosts of the ppl who died.

  • i fucking love this ride!!! me and my friends went on it 7 times in a row and me and my best friend got sick

  • I LOVE EDMONTON.. the skatepark in west49 is pretty epic :D

  • didnt someone die on one of the roller coasters in west edmonton mall? like a long time ago though? like one of the carts fell off the tracks

  • @ColouredHairStreaks yeah that was mindbender in 1986

  • @Underpants44 daamn

  • @ColouredHairStreaks yepp it derailed and went straight into a big pole in the 80's and killed 3 people

  • @Anisey yeah i heard something like that

  • ooh god, not the mind bender D=

When I was 11 I went on with my dad, and it was my first coster with loops on it so i was pretty scared, and at the end my neck hurt because on the loops the pressure pushed my neck down, but the pain went away in 2 days ^^ still an AWESOME ride!!

  • Oh my !!! Great !!

  • cool indoor coaster

  • y did u cut the film early

  • indoor??!!!11!?

  • It's pretty fun. My friend blacked out on the double loop for a sec haha, I didn't think it was that bad.

  • isn't that mind bender????

  • @Underpants44 Yep

  • Meh... Its not the bad... I must say I was scared at first but its awesome after you do it the first time.

  • @LilMusicMonkey How tall do u have to be!? bc im planning on to going on that! :) WOOHOOOO

  • 16justinbieberfan16 59 inches

  • Gosh I love swatzkoph loopers. So intense!

  • heee!! the roller coaster seems built in a factory or a container box.!

  • @beyondsupreme its a mall xD

  • @WinLinOSX thanks. i hadn`t thought the place as a mall..how do u know the mall?

if you do know the amusement part name, tell me

  • @beyondsupreme Yeh, it's not very Mall like when your in there xD but I know of the mall because I live in Canada and i've visited there. The amusement park name is GalaxyLand. :)

  • the enclosed place freaks me out!

  • nic rolo its pretty badass

  • lol, it looks ok, but if it didnt go slow at points then i would go to Canada to ride it, but im not going if it slows down like that, so im sticking with Cedar Point

  • that ride looks awesome i want to go on it ^^

  • wik

  • Thats the best coaster ever and it kills you it's the best one ever

  • i wanna go to canada now!!!

  • indoor!

  • The BIG retarded creator machine !

  • this looks fun!

  • Yeah but it won't break now, that was why they put the second loop in. C:

  • @WolfehCoyote uh it did break down it crashed!!! 6 days after my mom went on it like 20 years ago lol or something like that but ya and they died, have you been on the new one they have there? its a yellow roller coaster

  • @skyblue2567 ......................Okay? It broke off of the track, the second loop prevents that from happening now. And are you talking about the one in the video or the little kid one? P: I don't have the balls to ride the big one but I've been on everything else there.

  • @WolfehCoyote no i mean this big red one it did crash, lol the loops do nothing you think it doesnt crash? it does

  • @skyblue2567 Um. Yes. It crashed because it was going too fast after the first loop, so it came off the track. Having the second loop in slows it down enough to prevent it from happening again.

  • @WolfehCoyote i was on it when it crash i almost died

  • @WolfehCoyote it crashed b4 the 3rd loop lol not after first it crashed cause stuff came off the cart and it derailed lol get facts right

  • my friends always go on the rollercoatser...........

  • i would ride this... but indoor roller coasters freak me out !

  • Once it got stuck on the top of the loop and fell off

  • IT CAN'T FALL OFF IDIOT. DO SOME REASEARCH. Why do you think there are wheels under and on top?

  • I love watching that roller coaster at West Edmonton Mall but unfortunately I am not tall enough to on it and I don't think I will ever be tall enough, since I stand at 4 feet 9 inches tall and I'm 24 years old.

  • srry to here that

  • @Carlisle35Rosalie I know and I love the fast rides. When I was in Walt Disney World I just loved going on Space Mountain and on the Aerosmith ride. I didn't get to go on the everest ride but I would have loved to have gone on it.

  • i used to operate that coaster years ago. its loud but you get used to it

  • haha that coaster derailed once XD no once died... i think

  • What happend is the breaks wouldn't work and 5 people died

  • @nagerbeech do you mean to say that once the coaster died, or no one died?? English people pleeeeeease!

  • @Luvlamp86 pff, it was just a miss type lol and 5 people died actually. i researched it

  • wow an indoor roller coaster

  • this coaster is over 20 years old. It was a lot more impressive back in the day before every park started building huge coasters.

If im not mistaken someone lost their head or arms on this thing.

  • if your thinkin about ridin this beast make sure you can hold your head straight or itll hurt a good time after lol

  • um really, idk how this coaster can even be scary cuz there's a way bigger coaster in Doswell, VA in the United States and i didn't even scream on it...but IF I GO UP TO CANADA, IM DEFF. HITTIN THAT RIDE UP! lol

  • @toriclover , im sorry sorry to hear that your deff . at least you can see to write :)

  • um that means definetely hahaha

  • oh =/

  • this is a awesome concept i like it

  • I wanna go on that sooo bad!

  • Wow, those are some really hard loopings

  • its so fun iv rode it alot its a great rush

  • i wanna i ride that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i heard this coaster de-railed

  • It did, 5 people died and the rest broke a bone or 2

  • serious can u give me more info

    ??

  • Sure, 5 minutes later there was a alien invasion and every single dead/wounded human got healed and transfered into alien bodies and now they rule the whole planet.

  • lolz

  • Wow, an indoor coaster? thats the stupid thing invented. It kind of defeats the purpose of a roller coaster. This thing is tiny as hell. Not cool.

  • wtf; indoor coaster give you that unexpecte twist or turn, especially once like rock 'n rollercoaster or space mountain mission II !!! those are the best rides ever !!!!!

  • The actual purpose of a roller coaster is for the thrill... I hardly think it matters whether it is indoors or outdoors.

  • There are a ton of outdoor coasters smaller than this!

  • It's bigger in person.

  • this is the best rollercoaster ever!

  • lol i know

  • there was an accident in the 80s were it derailed and killed 3 people

  • how did it happen

  • im not sure

  • i live in edmonton and its fuckin awesome here!!!!!

  • I am going in a few days do you think I will enjoy it?

  • im going to canada hope i have fun im going the end on the month

  • haha i went there but i didnt ride it

  • I love this coaster, i have been on it many times.

  • I saw this on tv today! Travel Channel

  • no sorry wrong coaster

  • ya that crashed happened when the coaster train de-railed and the train crashed into the cement wall killing all the passageners

  • You guys are fucking stupid if you think that one crash makes it extremely dangerous. Maybe then, but now it's extremely safe. I don't know why nobody bitches about the dozens and dozens of other rides that people have been killed on...

  • I was in line for this coaster in the 80's at the time that one of the carts derailed and killed some people. It flew right off the track and into one of the concrete pillars. It was only a 1 time accident, but it has scarred me for life - I will never ride this coaster.

  • and now... neither will i -.- :P

  • great...same here adn i mite go to canda this summer!!:(

  • It's now the safest coaster in the world, Anti-roll back "dogs" were added to prevent the train from rolling backwards during the initial lift. Seating capacity was reduced from 16 to 12 per train. The lap bar restraint was retained, but seat belts and a shoulder headrest were added for redundancy. The design of the vertical axle was changed so that the axle became a fixed part of the bogey, and the retaining bolt was moved to the top of the axle, where it is easily inspected.

  • I was watching this coaster recently and one of the trains got stuck in the area where the riders get off, another train was just coming down the first drop, the guys running the ride had to quickly get all the people off the first train and pysically push it out of the way of the 2nd train, they then shut down the ride, um no I wont be riding it!

  • that happens when the brakes shut down but you don't have to worry there are block breaks that stop the other train grom slaming inti the first

  • this Riide is Awsome =D haha

  • i live right near here and i've been on this 4 times

  • looks wiked but i live in florida and i dont think ill ever go there! =[

  • I would like to go on it, but I think I'll never come to Canada. T_T

  • im gon tere now to ride this

  • I live there

I can go on the MindBender any damn time I want

    XD

  • OH YEAH I LIVE THERE!

  • I have been on the mindbender 5 times and i had severe wiplash and my neck hurt for 2 weeks afterward but it was kick ass!

  • Wow, looks intense (like all Schwarzkopfs)!

  • ive been on this one Galaxy land rules

  • it looks cool

  • what happen like 5 people said something about the accedent i want to know what happen

  • when they built the rollercoaster here the maintenance manual it was in german.. eventually some wheels came loose and on the last loop it derailed and slammed into a beam and like 6 people were killed.. they improved the safetey on and its totally safe to ride now.. that happened over 20 years ago..

  • Very true, The only survivor I think spoke about the accident on the news one time, he said that almost everyone was injured and 6 people died. Almost 7 if he didn't survive.

  • I love how everyone hates this ride, yet they've probably never rode or won't ride it because of the accident well over 10 years ago.

  • this is the best coaster you know ive been on it like a gazillion times

  • wow i used to go on this ride soo much when i lived in edmonton...

I think i went on it at least 15 times in one day .. literally blacked out once..hahah

  • why? looks like a decent coaster for an indoor ride

  • of course leave it up to canada to make a stupid roller coaster

  • LOL!!!!!! I live in Canada but I live in Ontario and I am lucky enough to have Wonderland not this piece of shit...lol

  • I've been on the Mindbender and all of the other rides and the waterpark in West Ed in November, December, January, February, March, April.... nothing like finishing a great day in the waterpark in January with a ride on the Mindbender! You can keep your 'Wonderland' that's only open for 5 months of the year, and even then, half of the time when it is actually open, it will be cold or raining!

  • Its open almost 7 months now and it has 14 more roller coasters than this, the tallest and fastest roller coaster in Canada, Behemoth, and it has the second highest attendance rate. So don't tell me this is better. Your just hiding the jealousy.

  • Actually most attended seasonal theme park in NORTH america.

  • You must be joking CW is actually open for 6 months and it has way more coasters than west Edmonton mall, we have Behemoth a 230 foot hyper coaster. And when it is "actually" open it's in the warm sun and out doors of the summer.

  • THANK YOU! lol those ppl are just lealous like I said and they've prob never been to Wonderland hehehehe...lol

  • Lol exactly

  • ahhh haha well we are very lucky to have wonderland really.. One of the only Real amusment parks next to La Ronde

  • True

  • Also um that comment from Tamaralynn26 above is pretty fucking scary. I'll never ride that coaster either if I ever go there XD

  • that looks like so much fun

  • It is. XD

  • i went on that shit man it sucks when they take your pic at one point , cuz u look all messed :P

  • i went on that on wednesday! you blackout when you go through the loops!

  • yea man i love that roller coster so much it so fucking intense when ur at the top and about to drop

  • fuck thats fast..whats the gs on it!
