I recognised that I know some of these movements - my father taught me to do them when I was a child. Thank you so much for the reconstruction of these dances!
@oberek92 - Yes, he is. He (Kopinski) also spent time with the Krakowiak Polish Dancers of Boston as Music Director in the mid-80s, when this collaboration occurred.
This music is from Jacek Marek's recording "Dances of Poland" - which he produced himself with Kazimierz Kopinski and Polish artists for the international folk dance market. He also is the choreographer of this mazur (hence the name). I don't believe the (LP!) recording is still available, but you might try online or from folk dance sources
K Kopinski is a music teacher. He participates at the Lublin summer folklore course for Polonia, organized under direction of Stanislaw Leszczynski who manages the ZPIT group at University Marie Curie Sklodowska. Krystian FR.
I would love it if I could understand your notes! Any chanceyou are dying to elucidate? I love the sweeping double arc of the mens' arms. I have never seen it before. I WANT YOUR MUSIC DISC, but you have not answered!

It was described to me, doing this dance well, that you should feel as if you are flying and it truly does feel that way :)

Good for entertainment, music rythm is of well accented mazurka and sometimes steps appear 'just learned'.
But if it is a competition, of course, steps must be corrected.
