The thing I admire about the Swedes is that they see past their old bands. They know that Pantera was his old band but instead they embrace DOWN and even sing their lyrics.
It was so fucking amazing! I threw my pantera t shirt up on stage and Phil grabbed and showed it to everyone! Then he threw it back :D, I am the happiest guy on earth. Somebody must have videotaped the "whole" show. Because I would really want to see this whole show again!!
Phil is an amazing guy. i recently hung out with him at the Masquerade in Atlanta when he toured w/Arson Anthem. he was like Far Beyond Driven Phil minus the the drug use. he held court with like, 5 of us that work at the club...amazing man
@avery6sic6 AND on a side note, ive had the pleasure of meeting Kirk Windstein as well when he toured w/Kingdom of Sorrow...bad ass dude as well. i had my then 5 year old daughter with me and she was rockin out, LOVIN it and everyone in the band loved her. Kirk wanted a hug from her lol
He is truly immortal! It's just not possible to be like him... after so many shits. He is even immortales then Ozzy... which is hardly possible haha. Anselmo is the real metal god!!!
so so so impressed with just how much he has improved in vocals again when they come to australia i doubt there will be an arena left! go phill, go rex,go jimmy,go kirk and go pepper! you are the best band ever period!
