  • if you take a 2 lb. bass and put it into a 120 gallon tank will it keep growing till its a monster or will it stop since its in a small tank instead of a lake or pond

  • @bassfisher212 I have been told by multiple people at aquarium stores that bass will continue to get larger even in a smaller tank. The reason bass in smaller tanks dont grow as much is because with less water in a smaller tank, the water quality decreases much faster than in a large tank just from "waste". If you empty out 20% of the water in your tank once a week and refill it with fresh water your bass should continue to grow until its a monster!

  • @mmmmmr96 Why not. People keep oscars and other big fish as pets. Besides, in many if not most parts of the country, largemouth bass are an introduced species.
