They prob didn't send you a bill because the other side paid it not you that is the usual way unless you caused some items to be irrecoverable. Did you actually have to pay the solicitor anything who didn't present you with a bill?
magnumpioahu, the bill was made out to us and we certainly had to pay it. If you take a look at my Channel where it says, "warning do not use this Solicitors" check the link below you will see why we had to dismiss him for professional negligence, we were told that we had to pay him by Vanderpump & Sykes, Solicitors' that took over our case and had it thrown out of court considering Costco accepted liability! We had to get the Law Society to get Vanderpump & Sykes to have the case reinstated.
It has been a nightmare considering we were the innocent victims that depended on our corrupted legal system. As for insurance companies paying solicitors direct that it self is corruption because we the plaintive are the ones who employed them and the insurance companies should deal directly with us not our employee. If you know an honest solicitor my wife desperately needs one she still have not received a penny the accident was in April 2003
Hi ZupaSC, how true and they know it. I haven't voted for many years but have decided to vote for the Libertarian Party at the next election. But I do believe they will all be corruptible when obtaining power. Is it possible to dismantle the established corporate machine, is there a party that is willing to do so?
Not a party as such but a "movement". Check out the British Constitution Group.
Another site that may interest you is TPUC(dot)org which is sort of an "opt out" guide dealing with everything regarding law.
Hope you find these useful. As for voting, I have since I've been eligable, its the one thing that stops me from promoting anarchy and all that entails.
Every idea starts small, only with hard work do they ever grow. Corporations only have respect for profit and market share. That film Network with Peter Finch sez it all.
I vote BNP myself, for a number of reasons, mainly though because I want to see the Corruptables hang for their crimes of tyranny.
Value Added Tax, like the sales tax in American States. It was 17.5% but our gracious gov. has knocked it down to 17% to "boost" the economy, the generous buggers.
Freeman wouldn't exempt you from that tax. Only stealing is tax free and the MPs have got a monopoly of that.
Mr Berry, may I ask a sincere question, please? Your wife's accident was so very unfortunate. I am truly sorry that you both have suffered this way. I want to know if you had won your case, if your solicitor had gotten you a big settlement, would you have quibbled about a VAT number not being on the bill? (Be honest now). I don't think it would have crossed your mind. Good luck to you, sir. Be strong if you can. Best wishes to you!
Hi, opchidexio (John R). before the accident I could have seen where you were coming from. A "good question" but after experiencing this horrific accident all we wanted was justice from our legal system, money isn't any good to dead people or someone with a head injury, we could have been flattened on Costco's concrete floor and there wouldn't have been any one here to communicate about the injustice that exist for the victims of negligent behaviors of large corporations.
The bill that I was referring too had to be paid by a horrifically injured victim out of her pension funds because of a solicitor that failed to implement personal injury procedures and had to be dismissed. The Law Society said that it was beyond their jurisdiction to do anything and we had to prosecute the firm for professional negligence ourselves.

It borders on lunancy.
The Law is just another racket, a closed door network only interested in money.
When it comes to the Law, trust no one. Not the Police. Not the Lawyers. And definetly not the Judges. Its all business to them.
Its just a shame that the laws that was once there to protect us are now nothing more than to keep us in our place.
Good luck for the future.

Liked the Libertarian quote though;
Vote the same, get then same.

What is a VAT?
They make the laws, so the laws will always favor them. Become a freeman on the land.

Why didn't you simply phone up Royds and ask for a VAT number?
