that's called EX its still in plaza indonesia areaa... i really love the theater studio at theree.. we haveee so muchh mall.. the newest is Pasific Place in jl. Sudirman.. u can get many branded items like Hermes, Bvlgari, LV etc... so please comment how do you feel about jakarta?

u should check it, in kuningan they are also build shopping center area, they will make it something like singapore orchard road indonesian version. they build anything everywhere if they have opportunity to find empty space in jakarta...jakarta gonna be full with skyscrapers and huge malls. i think d government should think another place for capital city, jakarta not ideal anymore for capital city.

No, I think it still fits it.. The government is trying to make those green areas.. I just read TEMPO, my dad just arrived from Schiphol from Singapore.. He was in Indonesia, also he brought me a Taro Chips! Something I miss the most from Indonesia (Im eating it right now)

Jakarta can be turned like New York, and the Capital can probably be like in Borneo or Celebes.. Bali is the most attractive spot, Jakara is where you do business, the capital can be different, seems interesting ^^

indo have more all stuff u mentioned.its common here.some grandeur malls in indo have Cinema XXI,more bigger than standard theaters we have known.n bout IMAX theaters almost in some tourism area,indo have some.ice skating in the malls,n some of huge swimming pool etc,jakarta is twice bigger than KL n d country have more than 220 million population, so no excuse if they cant have all of those things,even much more in significant quantity than u have there.

Indonesian malls have those stuff Mall Asia in Manila has, but they are spreaded around.. Probably the intention is to make people to explore all parts of Jakarta, not only one..

Mall Taman Anggrek is not in the center of Jakarta, and it has a place for you to ice skate.. The Beverly Hills of Jakarta is Pondok Indah, the mall is amazing and they have a swimming pool too (They have the old Pondok Indah Mall and the newer one).. So, you just have to explore Jakarta to find those stuff.. :-)

Jakarta is turning so cool.. I was amazed when I was looking at youtube for Jakarta.. :-) Netherlands has all old buildings.. ^^ Jakarta is more of a metropolitan city..

What I hate from Jakarta is when they got rid of the tram transportation.. They used to have it around the 1950s, but the government got rid of it.. Because they think it symbolizes the OLD Indonesia -_-; Now they're making a new one.. :p

Jakarta's building a tower though, finished in 2010.. They say that it's going to have a mall there, I'm not sure.. But when I'm back to Jakarta, I'm going to visit it - Another landmark of Jakarta -_-;

Amsterdam at the same time is going to finish with the underground train! ^^ So excited,

Agree with Indojunkee.. This is an average mall, I don't think I'd like it personally..

Malls in Jakarta are divided in different categories, and this is I think is suited for teens..

Look up for Pondok Indah Mall 2 or Jakarta Tower in google.. Pondok Indah Mall 2 is very luxurious.. Jakarta Tower is still being built, but is going to be like Pondok Indah Mall 2..

I looked up SM Asia, they seem okay to me.. Not too grandeur - but huge, maybe I need to look it up in google..

What kampungan??? I live in Sydney and not one shopping centre, let me repeat, not even ONE of them matches the luxury and grandeur of malls in Jakarta. I've been to many places, and I'd say malls in Jakarta can match malls like Siam Paragon (Bangkok, Thailand), West Edmonton mall (Canada), Takashimaya Times Square (Tokyo, Japan), or even Mall of the Emirates (Dubai)! Have you been to Grand Indonesia, Senayan City or Pacific Place?
