  • Sounds like the Beatles, and that's hard to do.

  • I almost forgot how much i love this band...shame on me!

  • The 90's were the shit.

  • i wouldn't mind seeing this lady in th clearblue commercial in a lady picture show, maybe not a 5 star show, but hey maybe 3.5-4?

  • que chimba de cancion ............♫♪

  • the part at the end is scary

  • This is such a feel-good song. I cant help but sing along!

  • I never realized this song was about a dancer that got gang raped until I looked up the chords online...

I knew it was about a stripper or noodie booth babe... I thought it was more about being tired and used up, and someone special freeing her beleaguered heart. xD

My favorite STP song, easily. Lady Picture Show and Big Bang Baby have that Beatles vibe. I dig it.

  • @Candlejackerable I never realized that until I read Scott's "Not Dead & Not For Sale"

  • 5 retards somewhere roam the earth

  • What a Tune

  • im sorry, does STP care about ur discount Sears?.. they must cuz u just interrupted my grunge hour for that crap

  • I so dig this. One of their best songs.

  • Fugg the mourning! Hell celebrate for what all he's done in life. Ya'll know he live's in the music right!? <3 is all i got to say now...

  • this is a great song from the band i still dont know if there hardcore or grunge thou mybe both haha!

  • ME ENCANTARÍA SER LA CHICA DE SU CUADRO...I LOVE STP!!!

  • Cool video! STP just blows my mind! What an iconic band!

  • Saw these guys live in Williamsburg, VA AWESOME!

  • this was my band back in the 90's and I still love em'

  • what a beautiful solo! =/ ,,,This band touch my feeelings deeply!

  • A bit Beatle esque. Always a favorite.

  • The one time I've seen STP live was on the tour for this album, a tour that was later cancelled due to Scott's increasing drug problems, but it was a heck of a show, regardless of what was happening backstage on the tour. Local H opened for them, they were really good too, but didn't pan out to be as big as we all thought they were going to be back then. Has anybody seen STP since the reunion? Are they as good as they were back in the day?

  • Fucking brilliant.

  • Such a fun bassline to play...

  • Cause they are not a simple "grunge band".

    They are a ROCK band.

  • @CarlitoMachado

    Are you referring to Nirvana?

  • @CarlitoMachado - Fucken' Eh!

  • Cause they are not a simple "grunge band".

    They are a ROCK band.

  • The verse line is borrowed from Badfinger's "Apple Of My Eye." The chorus sounds Beatley but I can't identify any specific song. Great song, I just wanted to point out the obvious inspiration.

  • @billbadford someone noticed this besides me! First time I heard this, I thought "that is the riff from first track off Badfinger 'Ass' album!" but STP make it work and they did a great song

  • Love their work!! ...Skotty brother we'll see ya again!

  • Sooo trippy and awesome :)

  • Forgot about this song... trying to remember another song I'd forgotten..

  • Haha, that girl dancing has a body like mine. :P

  • This song almost made me cry out of sheer happiness. I'm a dude, this can't be right...

  • @7credible lol..a guy friend once told me that very same thing..it's ok. :D

  • Aside from the vocals this song showcases a lot of Zepplin influences, especially Rob DeLeo's solo. Always loved this one.

  • this song is so underrated. many people don't realize good they are and how mature their music is.

  • beautiful video. one of my favorite stp songs

  • this is my favorite stp guitar solo. dean rocks!!

  • what a great band. too much acid.

  • One of the kind.

    A perfect song.

They are underestimated as just a grunge band... their music is so great..I just love being trippin through their music...

    Long life to them.

  • yeah!! love this song....I am a piscean.... usually interested in history...the past, and i enjoy listening to these kind of songs while reading old magazines...

  • This was every element that made STP so great all blended into one song. Scott's range, killer bass, some grit behind the soft sound, the ability they have to make music flow so effortlessly and one bad ass solo. STP for the mother f'n win.

  • @pjstp22 Hellz yeah!

  • #talentosa #loqueseescuchaunlunes

  • One of the best albums ever. Likely due to the fact that Scott was totally cracked out on H at the time.

  • woa i just had a braingasm

  • just listen to the music we dont care about them!

  • enough said.... making music not one the who smoke the junk here its video and the music in it ... scott get in to drugs not his their music

  • @MrDodeng05

If he`s into drugs...then he will create and compose from that state of mind....anywas...into drugs or not dosnt makes the difference, its himself....at the time he was living...and its great.

BTW can u tell me about any great band that havent been deeply into drugs???

Drugs are great. you just need to pick exactly what u need...for any purpose, for a painting, for composing and recording an album...or just for make love with the one youre with...

    FEEL..IS PERFECTION.

  • @FlyLords Poets Of The Fall are great their from Finland but the lead singer sounds more like a southerner than a Scandinavian. In fact I was into them fro a year before I found out they weren't from the south ha, ha, ha.

  • @FlyLords people who do drugs are fucking pathetic, they are not artists if they need something to control their minds and bodies for a creative crutch.

  • @punksush1 Sober people make better music? Look at the product, its genius. Brilliant song! I agree drugs are bad, but is it a coicidence the more popular songs are writen and composed by people on drugs ?

Studies show math and english go down. Writing, art , up, grade wise when you introduce mind altering substances.

  • @toowiew34 Agree. Drugs have their (finite) place, but for whatever reason some people can't accept that.

  • @FlyLords It's grammar like that, that most definitely does not help aid your argument, nor help get the point a cross. Never the less...I completely agree. ;)

  • @FlyLords There is no need for drugs.

  • @sweiland75 Is there any need for pleasure?

  • @sweiland75

but the right ones sure are fun!

  • @sweiland75

    I don't need drugs.....I want them....and enjoy them!

  • @FlyLords Faith... No.... More...

    :D

  • @FlyLords korn

  • @jonesjavontae

He forgot to add that doesnt suck.

  • @deaddyz limp bizkit

  • Sound Similiar...you must be tone deaf. That was the dope on these guy by the press, that they were just grunge wannabes. Their sound couldn't be more different. AND despite Scotts drug habit which is VERY much his own fault you're going to have to admit that the rock press like many critics can be very partisan. Look at the hack job they did on Nirvana. Cobain resented Vedder also who because of his very left wing positions was ALWAYS a darlin' during the Clinton years.

  • a well crafted artistic video. very beautiful.

  • I know you guys like Stone Temple Pilots (as do I) but here's a band that has the same kind of feel to it Poets Of The Fall. I'm not part of the band, I'm just a fan of real music and great songs that acutely have meaning.

  • I never noticed the slight clipping on Robert's bass track until I listened to this with headphones.

  • Es una excelente cancion

  • they love bowie and beatles. but UK is where they are less successful. great song.

  • @hobosapiens

STP concerts (in their heydays 1994 - 97') made up for it with sell out shows in Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Greece, and Turkey.

  • Falto en el recital de ayer....

  • this is such a cool song in concert XD

  • Memories... bitter sweet...

  • Memories... bitter sweet...

  • Best STP song ever.

  • @inkedkoi Agreed!!

  • unas de las mejores rolas ke he escuchado

  • No, 90's and STP ftw!

  • 90's ftw!

  • Very good !

  • I really love their music... Damn... Miss this era..

I even liked happy in galoshes... LoL

  • @Timmy081587 Nothin' wrong with liking Happy In Galoshes. I personally loved it. Just about all of Scott's work (STP, Velvet Revolver and solo) is great.

  • @ownkind1 so what

  • La Mejor Banda del planeta!!!!!!!!!

    STP♥

  • Nicely psychedelic. Love the video, good match.

  • reminds me of the good ol topless bar and meth days

  • Everyone always says it sounds like the Beatles... Ummm IMO this really brings out CHEAP TRICK more than anything else. Sounds a lot more like Cheap Trick than the Beatles to me. I know the band likes Cheap Trick. Great song, great album. STP are awesome

  • although the album wasn't a success, this is an amazing track. Reminds me of their latest work

  • @HardHatMike24 this album wasnt a success? it sold over 2 million copies in the united states alone. and its nothing like their latest work, if youre referring to the album that came out this year, which was an utter disgrace and complete garbage compared to their first five albums.

  • @24jamestown Stp album from this year garbage??? U haven't hear it right? In my opinion they did good, awesome singles too!

  • @DonKillahminati ya ive fucking heard it, 4 times, and it was unedgy pop sounding bull shit

  • @24jamestown Why u hatin'? pop? come on now! hahaha! XD

  • @24jamestown the album they put out this year is easily the rock album of the year and it is fantastic... i didnt dig it all that much when it first came out but its one of those albums that grow on you and now i love it... dont try to compare it to STP's other 5 albums as you said... just look at it as a whole different element of music in the STP catalog

  • @stpunderground if thats the rock album of they year, then you know how bad the state of rock is. and it will not grow on me, its fucking poppy, unedgy, filth. it may be a different elements of music on the catalog, but its a bad one.

  • @24jamestown eat a dick mother fucker. STP Rocks it always

  • @gmman1212 never said they didnt rock, ive seen them twice. their new album is fucking shit and u people are in denial if u think its good. so suck my fat cock u twat.

  • @24jamestown the new album is badass

  • @RAYSHYLO77 it is? wow i didnt know. u must also be a fag right?

  • @24jamestown ha ur such a fucking loser go get a life

  • whats great about STP is you cant pinpoint when each record was made. they dont have a time-stamp on them. and every record is different, which is fantastic.

  • this song came on the radio the other day when me and a few friends were heading to Galveston and we all knew the lyrics. so we covering it at our next gig.

  • @williejack2 STP is the greatest band ever!!!! this point can never be changed or agrued cause it is a down right fact.

  • This is the standout on the album. A real feel good song that stands the test of time.

Melodic rock always oushines and outlasts the grungey styles and this is a testament to that.. This style of rock uplifts me where as Pearl Jam has me looking for a pistol to blow my brains out..

  • best song of tiny music

  • best song of tiny music!!!

  • i sing this in the shower all them time...i love this song...another song by stp that will be immortalized.

  • @joeparsons79 Me too! =)

  • Singer looks like Bowie, guitarist looks like Jimmy Page. Badass!!!!

  • gosh i miss the titty bar days..

  • OHHHHH FUCK!! LADY GAGA??, FUCKIN BIEBER FAG??...SELENA GOMEZ??...DAMN!! FUCKIN LOSSER'S THIS IS MUSIC, TAKE IT AND FEEL IT, THIS IS BEAUTIFUL MUSIC!!!

  • goodbye to the girls of the past..In every new dawn, there's a new beginning..

  • what can you say jondar? like ka dili?

  • STP the best ever

  • i cant wait to see them live in my city El Paso Tx, Sept 21,2010.... im SOOOOO there!!!!!!! \m/

  • Psychadelic!

  • good shit! It was as good as i had imagined it when I saw them live! A really tight band that playes like they've known each other forever!

  • me encanta este video, i like so much itś so great

  • Eventhough Scott Weiland is a fuckup,STP is the best work he's done to date.I just hope he can keep his shit wired tight enough to make go of it this time around.

  • @jager18903 Stp is his best work, that and Velvet Revolver...well...till he fucked them over and caused their possible doom.

  • @jager18903 You can't discredit Velvet Revolver, man... Come on now....

  • @resarie85 - I can't and wouldn't do that. I feel Velvet Revolver will be going in a whole new direction when next you hear from them, however. Not a bad thing really. It'll try them as a band:you'll see what they're made of.

  • Everything about this song and everything about this video is awesome. It's sonic, and visual perfection.

  • stp FTW

  • One of STP's best to bad scotts soberness kills his ability to make great music. One of the best bands of my time...The 90s........

  • The structure of this song is timeless like Beatles Woah. the bridge is the Beatlesesque "she doesn't know her name, she doesn't know her face."

  • @k2blue7 Very similar to the bridge in The Beatles' "She Came In Through the Bedroom Window", which is exactly where the Beatles comparision comes from. Great homage, indeed!

  • This is one of the few songs that I can replay over and over in my head ,an it never gets old!

  • who directed this video? It's fucking awesome.

  • Man STP is becoming like one of the best rock bands around now. They've been around for a while now too. They always write good songs. The new CD kicks ass.

  • A bit Beatlesque. Imagery reminds me of Eleanor Rigby with a bit of Stones Satanic Majesties Request production. Very modish British/American sweetness. A very good American band. The title of the album Tiny Music...Songs From The Vatican Gift Shop compliments the album with a Mediterranean Renaissance flavor. Too bad the scumbag rock press sucks up to those leftist/political Vedder-Pearl Jam wetbag hacks and dissed the hell out of these kids. Melodically super superior to Pearl Jam.

  • @StevenCarinci

    Well said.

  • @StevenCarinci Yeah and it's still the same way except now it's the Pop, Rap, and other fake music that get's the coverage. I bet most people have never heard of Cage The Elephant, or Poets Of The Fall.

  • @nicholsjoshua15 Cage The Elephant is ON EVERY RADIO STATION. And its a shame because they suck compared to STP.

  • @Huitzel Cage The Elephant is not even the same style of music this is the're more like The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Poets Of The Fall are more like Stone Temple Pilots, mixed with the Radiohead. in other words epic music.

  • @StevenCarinci Lets not forget...Heroine is a hell of a drug!!!

  • @StevenCarinci Actually no one shit on these guys... Expect Scott Weiland. Maybe if he didnt blow all of his talent shooting heroin the band would still be doing great. And how in the hell can you compare these two bands? They sound so similar its a bit ridiculous to say one is better than the other. And Pearl Jam isnt a hack group... Grow up, have you been listening to music for like... Three months?

  • @StevenCarinci

Christ you are absolutely right, ive always said tin music is the best stp album, everyone says nirvana is better those motherfuckin cocksuckers

  • STP f*uckin ROCK! Really glad you guys are back, and the original band too!

  • i cant stop listening to this song :D

  • I haven't heard this song in years!! Even before I read the comments, I was just thinking to myself how I had never noticed how this song reminded me of The Beatles.

  • The guitar solo is orgasmic.

  • @AStrangerToSome I love saying guitar solos are orgasmic ;)

  • @AStrangerToSome Totally- couldn't have said it better!

  • @AStrangerToSome it is a great solo. I haven't listened to this band in forever. Whatever the hell StevenCarinci is talking about aside, this is a great song.

  • robert deleo doesnt get his props... he does all the bass and does about a little less than half of the guitar work too

  • robert was saying how much he was influenced by all that funk soul pop 60s-70s and the sound of philadelphia, which all became quite apparent up until tiny music...

  • I liked how much they changed with every album that came out. You can tell that the first album especialy was not really them, but more of an image being portayed by their record company. I still like the first album a lot, but I think they got much better.
