What was it he came from 10th to 2nd and then the fuel management began... and he still schooled Shittel when Shittel wasnt in fuel management mode and couldnt get passed lewis for a whole stint. Haha, embarrassing.
@x420Raptor1 hamilton was about 10 seconds behind alonso and holding up both the red bulls before he was told to slow down. unless his car suddenly grew 4 cylinders there's no way he would have won
@ThreeLiterV10 Hamilton got from 10th to 2nd in the first stint... then HAD to slow pace because mclaren knew he was underfuelled. he was slow there on out for a reason you bellend... If they fuelled him correctly he would have had 2nd at the very LEAST because he was catching gonzo in the 1st stint. Nob head.
@x420Raptor1 the reason that the red bulls finished 16 seconds behind alonso was because hamilton was in front of them and by the time vettel pitted alonso had a 10 second lead. He then went on to lose a place to vettel the next time he pitted and lost out to webber because he had to save fuel. so he probably could have finished third, theres no way he was catching alonso or vettel for that matter. and do you think maybe you overreacted a little bit there bud?
Guys i know you all know what happened just admit it now and stop fighting...Massa made a clean move on Hamilton tried to come back up the inside but loxked his tyre and so hit Massa...not Hamiltons fault he was full of adrenline at that point as was Massa...the contact was minimal and Massa only lost the position again because he got a poor drive of the last corner...that is Massa's fault for taking a poor line

You can't criticise Massa for the same thing as Hamilton has done and not pick up on that.
@XxnikixxbluexX Wow, 10 times better? You are retarded, who gives a flying fuck about consistency etc when the point difference is about 40 points vs the Ferrari's about 140. Jenson Button crashed Lewis out in Canadian GP and his gearbox failed in Brazil, that would have closed the gap further, Massa is a cry baby, Alonso is the man and that's why him and the rest of the world champions are on top of the table and Massa is not.
I don't it's that Massa is shit at all, granted he's had a crappy year but has anyone actually thought that it isn't Massa who is bad, but Alonso who is REALLY good especially considering their car this year, which is safe to say is not nearly as competitive as the Red Bull or Mclaren. people call massa the worst driver in history...stop hating you fagots he is more talented than most people in the whole field an will show it to you next season...i have faith in him
@Hater82110 yep... i have faith in the whole Ferrari team to turn it around... and those who think that Massa is bad, whose the driver who came close to becoming a Brazillian world champion since Aryton Senna?? you know damn well who i am talking about!! those who critisise him, what about yourself?? do you think you can drive better than he does?? i bet the G-force would snap your neck in the first corner before you even try!!
he hitted him, yet he didnt give position back, not trully gentleman he is. Kubica vs Massa Japan 2007, that's how fight should looks like, Kubica giving away position in last corner of the race, becuose he pushed out massa a bit on the grass.
Dear ferrari, after Massa's shit 2 years, barely touching 100 points IN A FERRARI, which had about the same number of DNF's as Hamilton. He is nowere near the other top 5. Massa was always average if not too crap. He never had a shining moment. All his press is him crying trying to pin his shit abilities on Hamilton. I had decent respect for Hammy and Massa at seasons start. I now REALLY hate Massa and starting to like Lewis as he can pull out unexpected wins.
Earlier that race Schumacher was penalized for "causing" a collision with Kobayashi, the same way Hamilton "did" in this action. I wrote "causing" and "did" with parenthesis because both action are the same, but had different action by the race stewards. Penalization for Michael, and nothing for Lewis. Where's the criterion?
Completely Massa's fault. Everyone who is saying Hamilton drove in to hot and locked up needs to consider that Massa was out braking him into the corner. In other words, Massa would lock up before Hamilton did because he was going even faster.
3. Hamilton has said this hasnt been his best season, due to poor qualifying and race results he has ended up racing Massa this season and has usualy been on the receiving end of Massa's over aggressive driving. The biggest thing to have hurt Massa during his Career Is Alonso. When Alonso joined Ferrari, Felipe was top Dog, Now Fernando is Absolutely Owning Him. which has caused him to drive slow and take everyone else that trys to pass him out.
oh for god sake people. All you lot saying "Hamilton is going to kill someone" "He should have braked earlier" "He ruins Massa's races" Just shut up bitching and read.
1. F1 is about RACING. In racing you take risks, sometimes the pay off, sometimes they don't. THATS RACING.
2. F1 is not exiting without people like Hamilton, Shumacher, Webber, sometimes Button as they take risks and overtake which brings exitment
Massa accuses Hamilton of not using his "mind" but here Massa didn't use his brain. He screws himself by not taking the outside & instead tries squeezing Hamilton out, contact is made & he loses any drive he might have had out of the corner. If he just gives up the inside to Hamilton & carries his momentum around the outside WITHOUT contact, he then has the inside for the NEXT corner giving him the shorter line to the finish. Probably would have beaten Hamilton to the line. Massa lost his brain.
Hamilton went in two fast on the in-side he should have fell back because he locked up on the brakes which would cause the car to continue moving forward into Massa so he fell back that wouldn't of happened
So much retard comments on Massa here. Can't you boneheads see he's not the same after Hungary '09? Stirling Moss had similar injury which ended his career because his brain never worked as fast and as intuitive like before.
@Shevabestfan I totally agree with u and think the same thing about Rubens Barrichello, he was a totally different driver before his crash on the Practice in Imola 94' when he broke his nose.
@KeepYourHandup972 The only record massa will ever set and it will be ferrari's worst driver ever and the points prove it. They really need to drop him.
@xxwaterxxx I know wat opposite lock is Ive been watchin F1 since 1998 and watched Schumacher do the same thing, How do u explain Hamilton lookin at Massa then steering into him? If he's as "skilled" as he is then why does he need to stter as much to stop the car sliding?
@RFCKB2K9 FYI. He have to save fuel cause his team under fuel him. That means he have to lift off where other people could go flat. This cause the tyres and brakes to be cold aka no grip and brakes are insufficiency . When massa brakes and try to take the apex. he did not leave a car length. It is a requirement to leave room for the other driver. + this is slowmo aka it should just be 0.5s in normal speed. Massa did the same thing in indian again FYI. He just turn in as if no one is there.
@RFCKB2K9 He looks over to see the distance between him and Massa, why would you purposely steer your very fragile car into the side of someone else? He was correcting over steer caused by him going to fast into the corner as he locked up trying to brake to hard to not hit Massa, you can see the flat spot on his tyre. It doesn't matter how "skilled" you are, if the car needs correcting, it needs correcting.
@RFCKB2K9 The ''Steer Into Him'' you proclaim, is in fact a tactic they use to correct over steer, obviously in slow motion it looks like it's a full ''steer in to him'' but in real time, it's maybe 1sec or half a second. Obviously you either don't drive, or you have no knowledge of motor racing....
He had alot of bad calls and some right ones. But I have heard some rascist and non british comments. But the celebrities love him and the average joe as well. because he is a fighter. I sense he feels all alone out there when he has to face the stewards and I swear they are trying to manage him out. I just hope he reflects on this year as a learning curve and beat the shit out of them next year luv ya
Hamilton is my number one driver and I love it. Massa needs to let go of those bad feelings and get on with it. He has an attitude problem just like his team mate. soon the haters will be saying he is driving too fast lol!
He never feels defeated no matter how far he is on the grid and those are the moments he shows his true skill fighting for a come back tooth and nail and gets pole position.
Dont be blind! After the last time hamilton became a champion until now he dont do anything else. Its a true that redbull have now the best car in the f1, but also dont means they have the best pilots.Massa, alonso,Lewis,Button,Vettel or Weber has no diference if they run in cars like Virgin,Lotus or Hsp.
@12355535 LOL! you're an idiot and obviously do not understand the engineering behind formula 1 cars. They are all different, and have various straight line/cornering abilities. For example Mercedes runs lower angle of attacks on wings hence giving them straight line speed better than any other car - even with DRS open the Button had to duck back into the slip stream of Schumacher last night just to gain the speed advantage. My point is: any of those drivers in a lotus will struggle hard.
Lewis in his rookie year wasn't world champion because of his team screwing up and he had Fernando Alonso (world champ) as team mate! I don't understand how can people go around criticizing the man. I've been watching F1 for 26 years and I saw very few drivers like him.
@badreason alonso is a good driver but very egoistic and selfish! i know all drivers has these but alonso has it very unsportsman-like!massa is just a lucky guy on a lucky car, like webber.vettel is a good driver but a bit overrated i think, due to his superior car! he almost never engaged in battles this year.just cruised n speed away from others. he is overrated bcoz he is only consistent in good hot weather where tyres're can be kept warm all along, in rain, u know how shit unreliable he is!
@badreason hamilton on the other hand, he is very good with a good car, and still good with a shitty car. and he is consistent but a still young driver, and getting many unfair penalties (i m not saying he got a few right penalties but majority are not compared to same/similar situations with others) gets u pissed off and u make errors or unfortunate collisions with people like massa.massa is a sneaky puppet/tool! anyways, hopefully next year will be more fun with no loopholes!!!
@mmamdouh75 he didnt get a penalty because he did nothing wrong. massa tried to outbrake on the outside of a tight chicane and apex the inside of the turn as if he was clear of hammy...he wasnt. so what do you expect hammy to do? slam on his brakes and go in the grass because massa wants to drive like an ass? yes, that rhymed because im an aspiring rap artist but you get my point.
@didickcheeseburger actually it was the other way around... Hamilton braked really late and slammed into Massa who was already in front of Hamilton... going at high speed into such tight corner induced over-steer which he tried to correct... he did so by slamming into Massa again
Hamilton was slow and he knew it due to fuel level issues... he just couldn't stand the fact that "Massa" will benefit from such situation so he tried the trick shown above
@mmamdouh75 they were both trying to outbrake eachother. ill agree that hammy overdid it a little trying to hold the inside for the entry into the chicane but when youre racing hard you gotta go for those kinda things within reason. what hammy did doesnt warrant a penalty. this isnt the first time two drivers have made contact while racing hard without one of them receiving a penalty. its ridiculous to think hammy hit massas car on purpose and massa shouldve left room to avoid contact
@didickcheeseburger Hamilton's Fault that's all im going to say i saw at 0:46 that Hamilton driving straight like a mad man into the side of Massa's Ferrari obvious that it was Hamilton's fault and not Massa's 0:46 is you're proof that incident would of not happened if Hamilton didn't try to overtake him tight of the Apex that is the worst place for overtaking and after that he failed so what was the point of making Massa loose his balance while it was not his Fault?
@KingProBoxMan what you talking about. massa was overtaking hammy in this video. hammy did lock up but massa tried to shut the door too early. he needs to remember that the overtake isnt complete until hes completely clear of his opponent. the apex still belonged to hammy and massa tried to go where there was already a car.
@didickcheeseburger Massa Was Overtaking But Hamilton Did No Put On The Brake On The Right Time Which Caused Him To Drive Straight Into The Side Of The Ferrari...
@didickcheeseburger Are we watching the same video here? Pause at :40. It's not like massa didn't give him enough room. Hamilton initiated contact well after the apex when he had PLENTY of room to avoid it. Im not saying hamilton should get a penalty just defending massa. There is no way he is was fault.
@ahausheer think of it this way, when you make a left turn the right side of your car loads up (weight transfers to the right side of your car) thus creating more grip on the right side. So if the right side of your car has more grip then your left front tire would lock up first. When it comes to driving a car fast weight transfer management is key. At least when racing street cars, I'm sure with these F1 machines it is entirely a different animal
Felipe didn't blame Hamilton for this incident. They gave everything they had and it was fair racing. But all the others incidents implying both of them were pretty much Lewis's fault though
Not gonna lie. if this was anyother driver and not hamilton, people would admit massa was in the wrong for turning in. but because its hamilton people decide to rip into him and critisize him.
@Binotto Nigel was THE ONLY proper opponent of Ayrton Senna. Don't talk about him like this. But Lewis definitely should straighten himself up. I hope he does so in Korea in a few hours. He is on pole - the first non-Red Bull pole of the season.
@Binotto What a stupid comment. Watch the clip closley. Hamilton did all he could to avoid contact but his front wheels were locked up. The reason for that? Hamilton had been running much slower to conserve fuel. THe result is that Hamilton's brakes and tyres were cold. It was Massa's over aggressiveness & short sightedness that led to this incident.
All I see is Massa turning on Hamilton as soon as he's slightly ahead, and not giving him any space. But after Schumacher, Massa has been the dirtiest guy on track while defending.
@madbeatle82 I think you'll find that's what's called "opposite lock", to stop his back end stepping out.....why is everyone so anti Hamiton all the time? It was a racing incident, nobodys fauls but theirs for being passionate and wanting that extra place right to the end!
Does anyone ever notice Hamiltons wheels locked under hard braking and Massa still closing into the corner???....Noooo Its always the black guy's fault!
@50cent7589 Are you serious? He is one of the only drivers today not entirely reliant on DRS to overtake! He's just taken too many undue risks this year, thats all.
@50cent7589 As a matter of fact, I think this video is a good example of massa's disregard of the safety of the car he just overtook. You can see how he kissed the apex without leaving room for the car on the Inside of the corner. The 2nd clip show's HAM's front left wheel fully locked while Massa's wheels are spinning freely. HAM was braking hard to avoid contact while Massa who had better control at that moment should have been more considerate in taking that corner.
@dwildkat so if u think that massa was out of the way watch in slow motion the way lewis turns right in a left hand corner?see it for yourself.btw i was 100 meters away from that corner and u are not mentioning that massa was taking 1.5sec a lap from lewis and lewis didnt wanna let massa pass for anything on the world.desregarding both drivers integretty.
@84rubendasilva I believe turning your wheel in the opposite direction is the Proper way to counteract an oversteer. Also when you're in a competitive sport such as F1 you are excused for not wanting the car behind to overtake you. In an effort to defend his lead Lewis obviously acted on erroneous judgement in allowing himself to get into that position but for the reason that Massa was in much more control at that moment, He is to be held more responsible for whatever almost happened IMO
@dwildkat Lewis locked up. Did you not see that? He locked up not due to over aggesive driving but because his tyre temperatures and brake temps were way off what they needed to be due to the fact that he was in fuel conservation mode. Please watch the clip properly, watch the race and then I'm sure you will form a different opinion
@84rubendasilva Massa was taking that amount of time out of Hamilton because Hamilton was having to conserve his fuel. This led to his tyre and brake temps being too cold. This is what led to the lock up. Lewis Hamilton did everything he possibly could to avouid contact. Massa on the other hand knew that Hamilton's tyres and brakes were cold & should have chose his overtaking point more wisely
@dwildkat braking hard at the same momment as locking his wheels very straiht, which is an odd way to make a turn isn't it? he simply wasn't going to take an overtake or any from Massa until Massa starts matching fernando, at which point ham would then start callin the italian press and makin a case that they should back a fellow european driver not a south american. once a lewser always a lewser, he should recall how felipe behaved in 2008, maybe that would inspire him to be a gentleman
Wow, selective memory is a terrible affliction. The reason Hamilton's wheels were locked in the corner were because his brakes and tyres were cold due to him having to run slowly to conserve fuel. Instead of going off on a misguided, biased and nonsensical rant about Hamilton I suggest you question Massa's lack of forsight, intelligence & ability.
@chrismarkbicknell yep, only his brakes aren't up to temperature, nobody else has these problems, the reason lewis brakes might lock up is because he wants to be the one to brake last, even if it means going OVER the car in front of him.
ferrari fans can afford to have selective memory, cause it's only been the 5th time lewis has done this to massa this season alone, you can pick and choose, and in all of them, guess who was wrong?
@nrvanasobeamstel Nobody else had the brake temperature problem because LH was the only driving to conserve fuel thanks to a cock up by McLaren. Also, look at the clip Lewis Hamilton was hard on the brakes, couldn't go to the right, couldn't go the left. So, what else could Hamilton have physically done to avoid contact? Nothing. Massa on the other hand could've backed out of that move at any point but didn't. It was a racing incident at best. At worst it was an error by Massa.
@dwildkat 100% right!!!!!! Makes a change to see somebody on here actually taking on objective view of an incident instead of just jumping on the "anti Lewis" brigade.
@50cent7589 in the same way that you should take some "if I'm going to comment on something I should at least make the effort to be objective my views" lessons
@dwildkat You are right about what happened. However, your last sentence is irrelevent. Lewis' skin colour has nothing to do with the criticism he has recieved this season. I am a huge Hamilton fan but the simple fact is that Lewis has had, by his own high standards, a very poor season. his performences at Nurburgring, China, Britain and today at S.Korea were very good but his mistakes at Spa & Singapore have been poor.
@chrismarkbicknell Yes...I was wrong to have said that..... I didn't mean to accuse the FIA or any race steward for targeting Lewis because of his skin color. I had seen a number of racially motivated comments and post directed at Lewis the morning I made that comment so I guess I was in a foul mood. Pls disregard that sentence.
hahahaha guys it can only be thes two things: hamiltons fault or a racing incident but neeever massas fault haha. is it forbidden to steer in a corner and let 2 meter space on the inside for a other car ???
@mickynator1 How, by what possible measure have you arrived at that. It is very clear that you know nothing about F1 and even more clear that you didnt bother to watch this GP. You have just seen the news headlines, seen this clip and think you know what you are on about.

Massa will nvr see a WDC
coolL9457 3 months ago

Rant Over

oh for god sake people.

RFCKB2K9 4 months ago
@RFCKB2K9 It is to prevent the car from sliding. Opposite lock idiot.
xxwaterxxx 4 months ago
@xxwaterxxx I know wat opposite lock is Ive been watchin F1 since 1998 and watched Schumacher do the same thing, How do u explain Hamilton lookin at Massa then steering into him? If he's as "skilled" as he is then why does he need to stter as much to stop the car sliding?
RFCKB2K9 4 months ago
@RFCKB2K9 FYI. He have to save fuel cause his team under fuel him. That means he have to lift off where other people could go flat. This cause the tyres and brakes to be cold aka no grip and brakes are insufficiency . When massa brakes and try to take the apex. he did not leave a car length. It is a requirement to leave room for the other driver. + this is slowmo aka it should just be 0.5s in normal speed. Massa did the same thing in indian again FYI. He just turn in as if no one is there.
xxwaterxxx 4 months ago
@RFCKB2K9 He looks over to see the distance between him and Massa, why would you purposely steer your very fragile car into the side of someone else? He was correcting over steer caused by him going to fast into the corner as he locked up trying to brake to hard to not hit Massa, you can see the flat spot on his tyre. It doesn't matter how "skilled" you are, if the car needs correcting, it needs correcting.
Stevelangdon93 4 months ago
@RFCKB2K9 The ''Steer Into Him'' you proclaim, is in fact a tactic they use to correct over steer, obviously in slow motion it looks like it's a full ''steer in to him'' but in real time, it's maybe 1sec or half a second. Obviously you either don't drive, or you have no knowledge of motor racing....

Hamilton is my number one driver and I love it. Massa needs to let go of those bad feelings and get on with it. He has an attitude problem just like his team mate. soon the haters will be saying he is driving too fast lol!

cocouk1 4 months ago
Dont be blind! After the last time hamilton became a champion until now he dont do anything else. Its a true that redbull have now the best car in the f1, but also dont means they have the best pilots.Massa, alonso,Lewis,Button,Vettel or Weber has no diference if they run in cars like Virgin,Lotus or Hsp.
12355535 4 months ago
@12355535 LOL! you're an idiot and obviously do not understand the engineering behind formula 1 cars. They are all different, and have various straight line/cornering abilities. For example Mercedes runs lower angle of attacks on wings hence giving them straight line speed better than any other car - even with DRS open the Button had to duck back into the slip stream of Schumacher last night just to gain the speed advantage. My point is: any of those drivers in a lotus will struggle hard.

Massa shouldn't be in F1 anyway!
Lewis in his rookie year wasn't world champion because of his team screwing up and he had Fernando Alonso (world champ) as team mate! I don't understand how can people go around criticizing the man. I've been watching F1 for 26 years and I saw very few drivers like him.
badreason 4 months ago
@badreason alonso is a good driver but very egoistic and selfish! i know all drivers has these but alonso has it very unsportsman-like!massa is just a lucky guy on a lucky car, like webber.vettel is a good driver but a bit overrated i think, due to his superior car! he almost never engaged in battles this year.just cruised n speed away from others. he is overrated bcoz he is only consistent in good hot weather where tyres're can be kept warm all along, in rain, u know how shit unreliable he is!
mysticusa 4 months ago
@badreason hamilton on the other hand, he is very good with a good car, and still good with a shitty car. and he is consistent but a still young driver, and getting many unfair penalties (i m not saying he got a few right penalties but majority are not compared to same/similar situations with others) gets u pissed off and u make errors or unfortunate collisions with people like massa.massa is a sneaky puppet/tool! anyways, hopefully next year will be more fun with no loopholes!!!

How didn't Hamilton get a penalty for that is beyond me...
mmamdouh75 4 months ago
@mmamdouh75 he didnt get a penalty because he did nothing wrong. massa tried to outbrake on the outside of a tight chicane and apex the inside of the turn as if he was clear of hammy...he wasnt. so what do you expect hammy to do? slam on his brakes and go in the grass because massa wants to drive like an ass? yes, that rhymed because im an aspiring rap artist but you get my point.
didickcheeseburger 4 months ago 11
@didickcheeseburger actually it was the other way around... Hamilton braked really late and slammed into Massa who was already in front of Hamilton... going at high speed into such tight corner induced over-steer which he tried to correct... he did so by slamming into Massa again
Hamilton was slow and he knew it due to fuel level issues... he just couldn't stand the fact that "Massa" will benefit from such situation so he tried the trick shown above
mmamdouh75 4 months ago
@mmamdouh75 they were both trying to outbrake eachother. ill agree that hammy overdid it a little trying to hold the inside for the entry into the chicane but when youre racing hard you gotta go for those kinda things within reason. what hammy did doesnt warrant a penalty. this isnt the first time two drivers have made contact while racing hard without one of them receiving a penalty. its ridiculous to think hammy hit massas car on purpose and massa shouldve left room to avoid contact
didickcheeseburger 4 months ago
@didickcheeseburger Hamilton's Fault that's all im going to say i saw at 0:46 that Hamilton driving straight like a mad man into the side of Massa's Ferrari obvious that it was Hamilton's fault and not Massa's 0:46 is you're proof that incident would of not happened if Hamilton didn't try to overtake him tight of the Apex that is the worst place for overtaking and after that he failed so what was the point of making Massa loose his balance while it was not his Fault?
KingProBoxMan 3 months ago
@KingProBoxMan what you talking about. massa was overtaking hammy in this video. hammy did lock up but massa tried to shut the door too early. he needs to remember that the overtake isnt complete until hes completely clear of his opponent. the apex still belonged to hammy and massa tried to go where there was already a car.
didickcheeseburger 3 months ago
@didickcheeseburger Massa Was Overtaking But Hamilton Did No Put On The Brake On The Right Time Which Caused Him To Drive Straight Into The Side Of The Ferrari...
KingProBoxMan 3 months ago
@didickcheeseburger Are we watching the same video here? Pause at :40. It's not like massa didn't give him enough room. Hamilton initiated contact well after the apex when he had PLENTY of room to avoid it. Im not saying hamilton should get a penalty just defending massa. There is no way he is was fault.
aieljose 2 months ago
@didickcheeseburger err sorry. There is no way he was at fault. :)
aieljose 2 months ago
I see Hamiltons front left locked up, how is it possible to only lock one tire? I don't understand the dynamic of it.
ahausheer 4 months ago
@ahausheer think of it this way, when you make a left turn the right side of your car loads up (weight transfers to the right side of your car) thus creating more grip on the right side. So if the right side of your car has more grip then your left front tire would lock up first. When it comes to driving a car fast weight transfer management is key. At least when racing street cars, I'm sure with these F1 machines it is entirely a different animal

jakubkrcma 4 months ago
@Binotto What a stupid comment. Watch the clip closley. Hamilton did all he could to avoid contact but his front wheels were locked up. The reason for that? Hamilton had been running much slower to conserve fuel. THe result is that Hamilton's brakes and tyres were cold. It was Massa's over aggressiveness & short sightedness that led to this incident.

Not Massa's fault.
You can see it's not on turn in, He gave enough space.
It's coming out of the corner, from the apex onwards that Lewis is sliding into him.
Not on purpose, he just couldn't turn any tighter due to high entry speed on worn tires but still Lewis's fault.

50cent7589 5 months ago
@50cent7589 As a matter of fact, I think this video is a good example of massa's disregard of the safety of the car he just overtook. You can see how he kissed the apex without leaving room for the car on the Inside of the corner. The 2nd clip show's HAM's front left wheel fully locked while Massa's wheels are spinning freely. HAM was braking hard to avoid contact while Massa who had better control at that moment should have been more considerate in taking that corner.
dwildkat 4 months ago
@dwildkat so if u think that massa was out of the way watch in slow motion the way lewis turns right in a left hand corner?see it for yourself.btw i was 100 meters away from that corner and u are not mentioning that massa was taking 1.5sec a lap from lewis and lewis didnt wanna let massa pass for anything on the world.desregarding both drivers integretty.
84rubendasilva 4 months ago
@84rubendasilva I believe turning your wheel in the opposite direction is the Proper way to counteract an oversteer. Also when you're in a competitive sport such as F1 you are excused for not wanting the car behind to overtake you. In an effort to defend his lead Lewis obviously acted on erroneous judgement in allowing himself to get into that position but for the reason that Massa was in much more control at that moment, He is to be held more responsible for whatever almost happened IMO
dwildkat 4 months ago
@dwildkat Lewis locked up. Did you not see that? He locked up not due to over aggesive driving but because his tyre temperatures and brake temps were way off what they needed to be due to the fact that he was in fuel conservation mode. Please watch the clip properly, watch the race and then I'm sure you will form a different opinion
chrismarkbicknell 4 months ago
@84rubendasilva Massa was taking that amount of time out of Hamilton because Hamilton was having to conserve his fuel. This led to his tyre and brake temps being too cold. This is what led to the lock up. Lewis Hamilton did everything he possibly could to avouid contact. Massa on the other hand knew that Hamilton's tyres and brakes were cold & should have chose his overtaking point more wisely
chrismarkbicknell 4 months ago
@dwildkat braking hard at the same momment as locking his wheels very straiht, which is an odd way to make a turn isn't it? he simply wasn't going to take an overtake or any from Massa until Massa starts matching fernando, at which point ham would then start callin the italian press and makin a case that they should back a fellow european driver not a south american. once a lewser always a lewser, he should recall how felipe behaved in 2008, maybe that would inspire him to be a gentleman
nrvanasobeamstel 4 months ago
@nrvanasobeamstel You Lock Your wheels when you brake hard in an F1 car..Everyone knows that. Your argument here isn't really clear!
dwildkat 4 months ago
Wow, selective memory is a terrible affliction. The reason Hamilton's wheels were locked in the corner were because his brakes and tyres were cold due to him having to run slowly to conserve fuel. Instead of going off on a misguided, biased and nonsensical rant about Hamilton I suggest you question Massa's lack of forsight, intelligence & ability.
chrismarkbicknell 4 months ago
@chrismarkbicknell yep, only his brakes aren't up to temperature, nobody else has these problems, the reason lewis brakes might lock up is because he wants to be the one to brake last, even if it means going OVER the car in front of him.
ferrari fans can afford to have selective memory, cause it's only been the 5th time lewis has done this to massa this season alone, you can pick and choose, and in all of them, guess who was wrong?
nrvanasobeamstel 3 months ago
@nrvanasobeamstel Nobody else had the brake temperature problem because LH was the only driving to conserve fuel thanks to a cock up by McLaren. Also, look at the clip Lewis Hamilton was hard on the brakes, couldn't go to the right, couldn't go the left. So, what else could Hamilton have physically done to avoid contact? Nothing. Massa on the other hand could've backed out of that move at any point but didn't. It was a racing incident at best. At worst it was an error by Massa.
chrismarkbicknell 3 months ago

@dwildkat You are right about what happened. However, your last sentence is irrelevent. Lewis' skin colour has nothing to do with the criticism he has recieved this season. I am a huge Hamilton fan but the simple fact is that Lewis has had, by his own high standards, a very poor season. his performences at Nurburgring, China, Britain and today at S.Korea were very good but his mistakes at Spa & Singapore have been poor.
chrismarkbicknell 4 months ago
@chrismarkbicknell Yes...I was wrong to have said that..... I didn't mean to accuse the FIA or any race steward for targeting Lewis because of his skin color. I had seen a number of racially motivated comments and post directed at Lewis the morning I made that comment so I guess I was in a foul mood. Pls disregard that sentence.
