  • Great that you posted this, Constance Ford was a wonderful lady and pleasure to work with. - Sandra (aka "Amanda")

  • @Charismaoncamera Wow, 'tis truly an honor to hear that from THE Amanda Cory. Thanks so much! <3 <3 <3

  • did Victoria Wynhan actually cry when she told them Ada died?

  • @DoctorRod422010 you can tell Ms Wyndham 's and the castmembers tears were real. ..

  • I thought she was on a respirator for all she managed to say before she died! Still, what a fabulous scene. Ida and Rachel were great characters, the hallmark of passionate writing that just can't be found today.

  • @flexpin123

some times when death is near the person can do some incredable things if so it should of been written in the script, remember to the chrachter of ada was one strong woman she would of found a way to speak to her , also the communication between ada and racheal could of been spirital in context just having her daughter there would of given ada peace and strength to cross over to charlie gil all the people she loved

  • I remember this series of espiodes of dealing the death of Constance Ford. She was a great actress of her times. I remember her when she played Ida. She was a tough cookie. I miised her.

  • Where in the hell were those emmy people? Victoria Whyndam should have been nominated for these scenes as well as the Mac death scenes. She had to relive the lose of her friends in real life and on the set.

  • You are so right! One of the biggest travesties in daytime TV is that NEITHER Victoria Wyndham or Constance Ford won an emmy. The academy was too busy worrying about whether Susan Lucci (in my opinion one of the worst actresses) wins an emmy that they passed up on honoring these two ladies from AW. Victoria Wyndam is just tremendous in every scene.

Possibly the best mother-daughter team on daytime TV ever.

  • MIchael you are so right. It's as though Another World was considered the industries trailor trash of daytime. It never got the respect in the 80's and the 90's it deserved. Carmen Duncan (when Mac found out she was the chief) should have been nominated for that scene alone. Anna Stuart, Victoria W, Contstance F, Alice Barrett, were all top notch actors that the industry just overlooked. It's really sad when you think about it.

  • Seeing Judi crying on stage ... this was truly a talent. She and AW cast mate Lisa Peluso joked that the were the real "criers" on the show. They referred to themselves a Bawlina and Cryla (instead of Paulina and Lila). Lisa joined AW toward it's end, but she was a net plus for the show in my humble opinion.

  • So nice to see Brett Gardner on the show again. It was sad to see her go!
