  • Cute project! Can't wait to try it!

  • I made these this morning...mine said family ( didn't use the vinyl ) but i backed my cutouts with vellum...there's such a pretty glow when it's all lit! Thanks so much for this great idea!~

  • So clever and inexpensive!

  • love this

  • Super project! I am really enjoying your video's and look forward to more.

  • This is so cool!

  • Great project, very impressive.

  • Love this idea! Thanks for sharing.

  • these are gorgeous-I don't have time to do it for thanksgiving but i will definantly make it for christmas:)

    cindy

  • Really, really pretty! I will have to keep that in mind for next year! I really want that cartridge!!

  • Great idea and very easy! I must say I know the video was sped up but you sure tie one fast bow around that votive cup...lol. I never would have thought to stick my cup to my mat to keep it from moving. Where was that tip when I needed it...trying to etch wine glasses (they turned out fine but this would have sped up the process).

  • Great idea. Thanks for sharing.

  • love this idea and think i could use the vinyl on votive cups for Christmas too.

    thanks for sharing.

  • This makes a great centerpiece for the table and much cheaper then flowers.

It would be really pretty placed with mirrors under ti get the reflection of the candles.

  • Oh! What a great idea! Thanks for sharing!

    Sincerely,

  • This is something that I would think about for christmas. Not so many letters here in Norway, just God Jul :-)

  • Really great idea!

  • Love this idea and I like the tealights flickering through the glass. TFS!!!

  • Great idea and so easy! Way to go!

  • Love this idea! TFS!!

  • I love this project. Definitely one of the ones I will be doing!!!

  • awesome idea!! i just love it! if you want it to be permanent, you can also etch the whole glass & you would see the letters & the circle around it would be the clear part.love it!!!

  • Great tip on using the mat to hold the candle holder in place. The project looks great.

  • Very cute but simple to do. Just up my alley. =) thanks for sharing.

  • This is the cutest Thanksgiving project I have ever seen!

We are traveling and staying with friends for Thanksgiving and I was trying to find a thank you gift for them, this is it!

    Thanks SO much!

  • Oh I love this. Thank you so much for sharing your tips.

    Malisa

  • Love this, Going to adapt it for a different Advent candle..... Thankyou.

  • WOW - what a beautiful project - can you do that kiss cut in the origianl cricut?

  • Yep, you can! You just have to get your settings right. Play around cutting a smaller sample of vinyl and you'll eventually get it. :o)

  • They look great in both the paper and vinyl! :)

  • Cute little votives. Great idea!

  • very cute...I love that you used the vinyl instead of using it as a stencil...nice!

  • Great project and good tip about using the vinyl on both sides so the sentiment can be read from both sides of the table. This would also look very pretty on a mantle. Super cute!

  • I like this project very much, to bad I don't own a cricut machine....TFS

  • Just a tip. . .you can use a Cuttlebug too with just some basic letter dies. And a Cuttlebug will be a little cheaper and a little less technical. You can search our videos for more Cuttlebug projects if you're interested.
