"...and the day it ends, and theres no need for me" This line slapped me in the face hard... It's like being friends with a girl who you really like and you are pretty much unofficialy in a relationship with, but at the end of the day, her heart really belongs to someone else, and you're just there to keep her occupied while she waits for her "wolf" to come over, but you and the other guys who drool over her are just dogs. Idk, everyone interpretation is different :)

My interpretation of this song is that the narrator admires this girl who "lives with an orange tree and a girl that does yoga". Almost like he looks at her through her window... The girl knows he's watching "when she turns she pulls a smile", and The girl has a boyfriend. The narrator watches them. "He gives i get without giving anything to me" When they "do it" he cant see them through the window, "she gives, he gets without anything to see" The "Dogs they run"... it means life goes on.

i dont know. it seems that the dogs are a device to emphasize the narrator's pain. the dogs are running in the morning sun, which connotes freedom and happiness. but he is yearning for this girl that does yoga and is always sad. when the two images are contrasted against each other, they emphasize one another.

In my opinion, the meaning of the dogs in the song is to make us feel that some things may seem to be the same - the dogs always run, but he... He's changed. She has moved his world.
