This song is by State of Grace. Not Sasha and Digweed. They mixed it in one of their sets, but they didn't compose it. State of Grace is Dominique Claire Atkins, Paul Mark Oakenfold & Stephen John Osborne. Perfecto is a label that produces tracks written by Paul Mark Oakenfold & Andrew Gray-Ling. Apparently, Oakenfold and friends wrote the song "Not over yet" and Oakenfold and buddy Gray-Ling remixed it producing this version. Sasha and Digweed then mixed Oakenfold's track on Renaissance.

Mixing is just playing 1 song into another song. Some DJ's are hyper talented very active mixers, scratching, cutting, spin downs, thrown reverse and all that. So, some DJ's actually make tracks on turntables. Not Sasha. Sasha mixing, generally just cross fades tracks smooth. Sasha doesn't MAKE tracks on turntables, he makes tracks on sequencing equipment. All he did on Renaissance, that you credited him with creating this track, all he did was play it, mix it, crossfading it into another track.

I definitely can't take that away from him. Sasha mixes with the best of them and produced a bunch of cool tracks, numerous anthems even. Just this isn't one of them.

I was there for the 99 - 2000 Sasha / Digweed parties at Twilo... last friday of ever month. Went prob 7 - 10 times. Those days were the height of dance music and the scene will never recapture that glory. Let's face it too.. the secne was fueled by the rise and fall of E. Oh well... I can say I did everything I could have done during that period.... tunnel, twilo, limelight, SF, Exit, centrofly, vinyl. RIP dance music... the shit out today sucks.
