I would like to point out that you can be in love and with someone of the same gender, yet still be heterosexual. The definition of being gay would be homosexual, or the person of the same sex, in this case if male, you would be with someone that has a penis, if female you would be with someone with a vagina. Gender, would be the socially constructed views and ideals set upon the sexes. Therefore, you can have a female with a male gender, and a male with a female gender together, thus not gay.

Stephen Fry has said that we should use words like "f**k" and "c**t" instead of "war" and "agony" because war and agony are actually much worse than the words describing sexual acts that keep our world alive. Then again you should understand that he is just letting you know that if you want to say anything bad then use right words for it.

And I think you can't decide how intelligent he is only based on this video. :)

This is the first video I've ever seen from the vlogbrothers, and I think it's pretty awesome. I completely agree with the issues concerning grammatically poor comments and insults. My only gripe is that addressing those problems with a video is only going to feed the problem further by giving it more attention. I find that the best way to combat these issues is just to starve it by ignorance. Why let an insult annoy us? Most of us are smart enough to know we're not dumb (or 'gay'). =\
