@xxHartBrokenxx Actually, that was ganguro. You can tell because of how their makeup was. If there was more color and more of a broader look, then it would have been manba. Ganguro was mainly black and white and stickers. You can tell that was the early stages of ganguro from how long ago this was posted and how long it takes for this stuff to get to America and the age of their clothing style. Manba's much more extreme and is today. That was ganguro.

Kogal- precursor to ganguro, they had real tans, and tried to imitate the look of California girls(tan, bleached hair). Ganguro=dark face-many use makeup to darken their faces, then add white eye rings around the eyes, and bleach the hair. There are different types of ganguro. Manba came from an early form of ganguro (yamanba) They darken their skin and face, wear bright clothing, the white eye ring, white makeup on nose, cheeks, lips, and bleached/colored hair. Manba has changed somewhat

it's a fake tan used to be gyaru, yamanba , and ganguro gals. gals are street girls of japan who genarally wear short skirts, have wild colored hair, and depending on the type of gal a special type of make up. but those styles are getting kind of old now. not many gals are left.
