I agree with @woodslover, the sound engineer must have been drunk, like me right now! Also take into consideration that this is done at a small club venue where they sound quality plus recording is more than likely crap!
At this rate they'll be older than Neil within 5 years -- as Leonard himself says, "We're so old, we remember when 'Rancid' was still called 'The Clash'!'"
Ah, well -- the kids these days don't even know Johnny Rotten had a band before PiL! - 1b2s
I walked into a Licorice Pizza in 1978 and saw a 10 inch, white vinyl promo of Paranoid/Hideous/You Drive Me Ape Record. Never heard of these guys. I took a shot and bought it. It kicked fucking ass!!!Been a huge fan ever since. Over 30 years later they still kick fucking ass!!! Only Leonard & Carlos are left from the originals, But Little Dave and the others fill in perfect. Great cover of Youngs son. They also do a great version of The Who's See Me, Feel Me
@SoCalsportsfan714 I was right next to you at Licorice Pizza!!..did you go to their autograph party in the Pizza Parking lot for the release of Eve Of Destruction?? way cool..and just a small correction..i believe you mean Leonard and Stan are the remaining original Dickies..Long live their legend...
My band just played with them at Houge Barmichaels in Newport, CA and i was really surprised that a punk band was covering a neil young song but i really liked it.

Shit! i thought i was the only one who made a punk cover of that song... Brilliant song song and great nervous wreckage of a band...

This is a good variation of the song, though as The Dickies this shit doesnt have the punch it needs.

I've been looking forward to hearing their version of this since I found out they covered it, and it didn't disappoint! Thanks for posting it.
