well it started when truth ordered the genocide of the elites, and that led to the covenant civil war then well the elites side with the humans after they learnd the truth about the halo rings and then after they sided together they killed the prophet of truth (since truth was the leader of the covenant) there by offically ending the war and dissolving what was the rest of the covenant. without leadership what else is there to do?

this is going to make the fanboys pipe up with rage probably somewhere out there a 14 yr old is going to pump out his tiny chest and start a war abt wht am gonna say this is the most retarded thing i have ever seen , the halo games are nothing like this , the story the gameplay nvr created any atmosphere of an oppressive , loss filled war.and the fact that master chief is the sole reason for winning contradicts the realitys of war this kind of ad would fit say call of duty 4 or killzone 2

i'll agree with you that halo never had that kind of an atmosphere even though halo 3 was leaning towards it and trying to. however this is just some fan's compilation of the advertising campaign from bungie.

well it started when truth ordered the genocide of the elites, and that led to the covenant civil war then well the elites side with the humans after they learnd the truth about the halo rings and then after they sided together they killed the prophet of truth (since truth was the leader of the covenant) there by offically ending the war and dissolving what was the rest of the covenant. without leadership what else is there to do?

they fired halo, eliminating the flood. Halo was basically a giant ring in space, with a laser that, supposedly, if fired, would kill every living thing in the galaxy, but the Covenant,(the bad guys, led by the Prophet of Truth who ironically enough, lied to his people), thought if they fired Halo, they would initiate something called The Great Journey, but that never happened after the Arbiter killed Truth. After firing Halo,Cortana, Arbiter, and chief got off ina ship when they crashed
