McCallion is trying to get people to go to General Committee instead of Council NOT because things can be "debated" there but rather that there is NO TELEVISION BROADCAST of General Committee. These Corporate dolts are more than happy to debate over half an hour to an hour on something that they can preen about. But a problem that might call their governance into question? They give you a MAX of 10 minutes, then no one on Council has a question --your report is received. Then BURIED! Bogus.

So. You think when Mayor McCallion was saying all this before Mississauga City Security arrested you that contrary to the 2001 Municipal Act, her security had no policies and procedures in place to ensure accountability to the public?
As confirmed by Freedom of Information:
No "formal" public complaints process.
No records of complaints --at all?!
No Code of Conduct/Ethics for her security guards?
