i dont know y everyone said it use to be 1400, thats just the bulshit msrp rate that websites give you, actually when this guitar was first realeased during the city of evil time it was only 900 for the CUSTOM, but after the new self titled album hit the charts they bumped it up to 1000, and they also raised the price of the standard, and the zacky v guitar went up like 80 (i think, still not sure).... but anyways in my opinion this guitar is definatly worth 1000, but was sold for 900 last year

there alot of differences, bolt on neck or set neck, real seymore duncans, or duncan designed, and different types of wood, sure, if your not a real guitarist, then it doesn't matter, but for real guitarists who care about their sound, they get the best possible
