I did 5 years with an airborne infantry unit. I myself was a grunt. I know the trials and tribulations these guys go through. After seeing the real world from both sides I must say, it's a lot harder and more honorable to stand up and say no to whats wrong. This war is and always has been illegal.

I am not arguing that the war is right or wrong, dipshit! I was in from Feb'01-July'03 until a back injury put me out. But, I volunteered to go when they asked me. There has been a conflict in the US almost every decade. So to think that you are going to join and not see any wartime is STUPID.

I was an 11c mortar in the Stryker Brigade. But, did you get to run to Canada when they called you up? Or did you do what you were told and go serve?

@uspatriot381 Actually asshole, i joined up at the ripe age of 17, like I had planned on doing since I was about 5 years old. 11C, ok I can respect that, but let's both be honest here. Mortars don't nessecarily see the brunt of the action, and I can safely say as an 11C1P myself numbnuts. Only difference is I trained as an 11C and deployed as an 11B I know the difference between the two lifestyles and 11C is sham. As far as you getting out like a shitbag and med boarding out, WTFE. @uspatriot381 Oh and one more thing shitbag, It's a year later, and I have a buddy now on trial for sport killing in afghanastan. We are talking about SSGT Calvin Gibbs, a buddy of mine from basic training. He has deployed more than you ever could in your sissy little two years of if you wanna call it service. You can barely deploy with a contract like that. Anyways he was evaluated like every other returning soldier and even diagnosed with PTSD> He shouldn't have deployed in the first place.
