I cant afford to buy a gaming PC nor do i have the space... I play games to enjoy them and the PS3 still provides great graphics and great gameplay for an affordable price?

Its obvious that PC's run smoother and better than consoles, but console players only prefer console over PC because its less hassle and they can get into games a lot faster (Turn console on insert disc and done) whereas PC gamers would have to log onto Windows or w/e they use and then log onto steam if not automatic and then choose the game they want to play, also PC gamers have to install the games which takes time whereas consoles don't.

@Shiron95 But the main thing I think is why do console gamers choose a little box over a PC where the gameplay is a lot smoother and better graphics which makes gameplay feel better. PC is multipurpose so you don't have to use two things at once if you wanted to, its more convenient and console gamers think PC gamers HAVE to fiddle around with the graphics to make it look better, which they don't... Either way I prefer PC which costed me £700 ( around $1000) + 32" TV as monitor £300 ($464)

@DWcriticism No, you just buy a new part for your PC. Then Your PC runs even faster than a console because you constantly have upgraded parts. It is expensive but it is still fun as hell, not to mention those parts don't just replace your game console they also make your movies, music and TV obsolete. All I have to do is turn on my PC and I can do anything I want PLUS internet. It seems more expensive but it replaces almost every media device except a cell phone. Which console can't do either.

@DWcriticism I believe you, but you have to buy a really nice TV which is a lot more expensive than a PC when you add the price of the console to it. Not to mention you don't have as much flexibility as with a computer (Which is my main reason to prefer PC.). You get a great music player in a PC without having to spend as much on a sound system, movies instantly for a lot cheaper, no bothering with wifi for live and if you get bored of gaming you can just jump on youtube and argue XD.

Yes, but you need to pay for xbox live every year, or however long it is. Im not trying to troll, but once you upgrade your PC the upgrades could lasts a few years. My brother currently pays for xbox live 80$ a year, and to be honest, eventually over the years, the total you spend on that most likely get's way more expensive than upgrading your PC for 100$-200$. If you have PSN you are actually smart.

Wow man, that puts my puny little 450 dollar machine to shame. I have a Pentium Dual Core 2.7 GHz, a GTS 250 512MB and 2 GB DDR3 RAM. But it annihilates the PS3, which only has a 3 GHz single core processor, a 256 MB 7900 GT, and only 512 MB of RAM.

PC's and their monitors last forever. Cant say that about consoles, or have the televisions on the market these days. My system, built back in 2007, is the same system i game on today (minus graphics card upgade).

Though if you build a mid-range gaming PC that can run most games on medium or high (including Crysis on high) at 1680x1050 resolution (more than consoles actually run at) and look for deals, it could cost you between $300 and $450 for the tower itself, though then you still have the operating system, monitor (1080p monitor around $150, though you can use a TV if you already have one), etc.

people need to learn the differences between obsolete and out dated. Just because a card is out dated does not make it Obsolete. A 4870 with a nice MB can still play crysis 2 on VH at 1080p.

@jonyfeelgood No the actually come in the case, the just have to be hooked up to the PSU...also, its a really good case. It doesnt get that dusty, its got a lot of room, and its just cool in general. People say they crack, I dropped it, not a scratch on it. Thanks for the compliment btw.
