When light shines down though rain drops the reflection in them from the city bounces back through the atmosphere then reflects onto the river, just before it hits the river the reflection is exploded in the air to make it appear from a certain view to be like this ... its what Atlantis is thought to be.

Unless light is beind directed in different ways. Anyway based on the sharpness of the buildings and bluriness of the low (dense foggy) river, the fog's image has to be the river.

A mirage operates on reflection. How are buildings that high appearing if there is nothing on the opposite side. The fog is much lower than the height of those buildings. The reflection cannot possibly appear as large as those buildings from our perspective on the ground unless the buildings are in the sky haha.
They should take advantage of this event and shoot a movie there. Although with all the powerful graphic and special effects tools these days, I don't know if it will matter lol, other than saving special effects costs. It should work.

Are you sure it's not the dense river looking fog that made the river appear wider and thus under the buildings. Given the usual watery illusion of a fog, I'm sure the river's larger appearance is the mirage and not the buildings. 2 strong reasons are: The edges of the river are blurry (typical of a mirage) and the buildings are very sharp and clear. Even more reason to believe that the fog appeared as a larger part of the river making it appear like it was under the buildings.

OK, are people really this stupid? A MIRAGE is when the heat makes the sky reflect onto a flat surface, such as a road or sand, looking like water. A mirage is NOT a hallucination of buildings that arn't really there. I've seen the original video, the buildings ARE THERE, they do exist, it's just the fog on the river makes it look like they're floating on clouds. Dumbasses.

Even then its impossible. The fog is too low and there are those buildings are NOT behind the cameraman. So in all ways the reflection does not cause this. Unless light is beind directed in different ways. Anyway based on the sharpness of the buildings and bluriness of the low (dense foggy) river, the fog's image has to be the river.

@xOmidnightskyyXo No, it's a mirage. Those buildings are not actually there, light is bending around the water and it looks as if they are there. Same as driving down a highway and you think you see a puddle when there really isn't one there.

A mirage operates on reflection. How are buildings that high appearing if there is nothing on the opposite side. The fog is much lower than the height of those buildings. The reflection cannot possibly appear as large as those buildings from our perspective on the ground unless the buildings are in the sky haha.

A mirage is a false appearance of an object. FALSE appearance. Even if you were deluded to think you were on clouds, you still wouldn't scientificallybe wrong. Everything in that video was real. Except their definition of mirage.
Also a parallel dimension all because of a dense fog? Lol...
But this is still a captivating spectacle.

Are you sure it's not the dense river looking fog that made the river appear wider and thus under the buildings. Given the usual watery illusion of a fog, I'm sure the river's larger appearance is the mirage and not the buildings. 2 strong reasons are: The edges of the river are blurry (typical of a mirage) and the buildings are very sharp and clear. Even more reason to believe that the fog appeared as a larger part of the river making it appear like it was under the buildings.

I just wanted to let you know that though the interpretation of a mirage can be subjective, the mirage itself is NOT a hallucination and can actually be captured on camera... so before you start calling everyone cretin, you should check your facts. In other words: do not share your mind unless you can ACTUALLY afford to do it!

@EduardoElSexypants A mirage is not an hallucination, it's a reflection. The brain has nothing to do with it, it's an illusion mainly caused by LIGHT, which is why it can be filmed. It's the same thing as being able to see/capt one's reflection in the mirror without actually being in it.

@EduardoElSexypants Well if it was an hallucination, it would be impossible for all of us to see the exact same thing, which is in this case, a modern city. I mean, a projection of the mind would be entirely different depending on the person. But I understand that it looks like a scam for a lot of people. They should have explained things better or better yet, show footage of what it looked like in normal circumstances.
