  • Haha, the Simpson like guy at the end is awesome :D

  • or u can type: win key + pause.

  • tnx... i didn't know that....

  • thats benn there since windows 3.0 =O

  • Is 3.0 good?

  • no not even internet explorer

  • what is the big black thing at the end

  • Nice little tip thanks!

  • see you're using the Win7 RC :]

  • nice

  • Vista also has those sys properties. Win7 and win vista are almost identical in function. Only difference is win7 has some more good stuff, is faster and has loads of bug fixes.

  • I got 4gb RAM on my laptop :o

  • ok i got 7 ultimate cool but i know that already

  • @rrryta what do u want to know then?

  • nice

  • good super noob tip.

  • i got win7 build 7600 =D!!! and i dont have evaluation date since mine was cracked

  • i allready known wat copy i got for free ultimate wen u getting the full version of win 7?

  • Very useful

  • nice

  • cool but what is the differences i mean my is service pack important

  • It just shows the update release.

Most software demands that you have a service pack installed because that service pack required may contain updates that the software you need.

  • thanks

  • is there going to be a service pack 2 for win7

  • Well we first need a SP1

  • if u couldn't figure this out by yourself, u probably shouldnt be using a computer at all

  • lol there are sum pc users that all they can do is use word, if they can do that ;)

  • @Charusho oh i know, its just sad that he had to make this tutorial :)

  • another method is to type in run "dxdiag" shows all info

  • You can also open calculator and Help and then About Calculator.

  • that was just too fast PCWizKid!!

  • Nice video.

  • good!

  • The right click computer trick to see your version of Windows in Windows 7 can also be done for Vista.

  • i hate windows 7 beta cause its gonna expire!!!

  • @goholden12345 So? Microsoft always said when it would expire from the time the BETA was released. Pretty silly reason to hate Windows 7 if ever I saw one!

  • expiring in march so u have some time :P

  • @goholden12345 well buy the full version then, simple as!

  • Wtf why do they call it se7en with its six lol, sounds pretty stupid accord to me, but i think its for the money they earn more with a cool label lol

  • vista was 6. Windows seven is 6.1

  • @SeanBondWBB true, windows 7 is basically a windows vista with parallel drivers, a cooler taskbar, and windows xp mode.

  • well, that and they fixed it from crashing every 5 seconds, i think 7 is the best OS since XP really as they have fixed all the problems and made it less hungry

  • @SeanBondWBB Best OS since XP? 7>XP.

  • you realize vista has xp mode too...

  • use everest ..

  • More ubuntu videos!

  • I mean are there hacks to make it possible to increase the amount of ram it reconizes

  • No, there aren't any hacks to make it possible. The reason it can't recognise it isn't because Microsoft doesn't want it to, it's because a 32-bit architecture is not physically able to address that much memory. The barrier is a technological one, rather than something that Microsoft or any other company put there on purpose.

  • There is no way for a 32-Bit OS to fully recognise 4GB of RAM. That's partly what 64-Bit is for; it eliminates the memory addressing limitations of 32-Bit software.

  • what does evaluation copy expires on......mean!!

  • @Techipedia, it means if it's a test version/preview software of an OS.

So did you get the Windows 7 Public Beta build 7000 or Public RC build 7100?

(or any other builds) it will have an expiry date, like 5 May 2010 or something.

That means the OS shuts down and cannot be used, and requires a clean install, (when that date comes).

Though I don't know if changing the date in the BIOS will work...

  • @AmH032uTuBe lol i have a cracked version though i have already cracked it it still shows this so i aint sure what's going on!! ;)

  • He was using the Release Candidate version of Windows 7, It's not the full version, its like the more advanced beta that came out for people to test...it expires next year :)

  • @PCWIZKID

is there a way to use the full 4gb of ram in a 32 bit OS?

  • @pixelpages I am wonder to.I have 4GB of ram but i have 32bit OS :S. Windows sees only 3GB of them.

  • no it's useless then but many 32bit's key's can also be used on 64 bits

  • i have always used all of my 4gb of ram on a 32 bit.

  • well not on xp. in vista and up the problem is fixed. in xp it will look at your graphiccards memory and it will count that as ram as well. so i you have 4 gig ram and 512mb gpu. it will disable a ram chip in order to use the gpu memory. i had 2x1gb ram + 1x2gb ram + 512mb gpu. so one if the 2x1gb was not used. leved me with 3 gig ram.

  • Build 7100? what the duce

  • Nice, But in Win xp you can also go in to control panel and then system ;D but thanks you for the tutorial :)

  • why r u running build 7100 isnt that expired now?! its build 7600 thats RTM!

  • Why are you running build 71000

  • Windows 7 Ultimate Build 7600 32 bit

  • what happened at the end?????

  • good tutorial, I would like to ask, what is the difference in the 32bit and 64bit, is the 64 better and faster because I have a 32bit. the board I have is a MSI gigabyte mother board that I bought back in 2007 Nov. Is the board I have any good. I will put up a video of whats inside of my computer. Thanks.

  • wow! a 5.9 W.E.I ! my computer running ultimate is only 3.4.

  • Cool i already knew that! but still good video! 4/5*'s

  • Nice! I'm getting Windows 7 soon...

  • Does it show if you use a 32/64 bit version? I can't see the information on there! Correct me if I am wrong!

  • hi i have a question which os do you prefer more or you think is faster windows xp professional or windows 7???

  • Windows XP is faster...

  • @renatogila97

Windows XP is faster, but it sucks for games.

keep up the good work :D

  • whats the difference between what build you have? like yours is 7100 and mine is 7600 what does that mean?

  • Mean you have the final version of windows

  • @sircaspian1 it means his one is the release candidate and yours was bought or came with your computer or you windows anytime upgrade

  • @sircaspian1 , I have several PC's with different builds, the one in the video is a Release Candidate Build , I have the Final Retail on DVD and also a RTM build download from different sources that also says 7600.

  • Hey Wizkid, i want you to make a video of how to change 32-bit to 64-Bit in Windows Vista, i would appreciated it if you can.

  • @nintendowiids12 You need to buy Windows Vista again.

  • You can't. You have to install a 64-Bit OS to have 64-Bit. Your CPU must be 64-bit, and also check if your hardware has 64-Bit support. If you have a laptop I recommend sticking to 32-Bit if it's built in.

  • delete this comment before some one starts to gun on you.

  • just get windows 64 bit and format ur C: and installm but u need a 64 bit processor

  • its working for me
