Great review. Thanks for showing the features and for comparing it with competing ultra-lite 1-man tents. Definitely seems like it's well-designed and durable. Think its quality would hold up to different environments of a cross-country hike? Thanks... Mike
Thanks a bunch for making a review video on this tent! I was wondering about some of the qualities & benefits of this particular tent. certainly helps a lot.
@bcm4066 Friend of mine went on a vacation, I think in Argentina, and brought it back for me. I let Ben borrow it for a day because he was cold. :) -josh
Great looking tent. For what it's worth, I would give you both a best of 2010 award for sure. Josh is working on getting a 'host with the best moves' award by the looks of it.
Sounds like a great solo tent. I like the vestibule, lots of room. I'm going to have to look into this to see what kind of vapor barrier action the floor provides. Unless do you guys know? I guess you get what you pay for. Sounds reasonable for the apparent quality that it seems to be. Nice one guys. I like the tent reviews. Josh's coat? Not so much... He is a wild man on the dance floor though!
cool tent, now start a fire to see how it turns into a human torch when you make your morning coffee on a jet boil. Nothing says good morning like a flaming layer of nylon covering your body.
@LeonRFpoa I don't know many tents that will be both a) super lightweight and b) able to withstand flames. But yeah, be careful with the JetBoil in the tent! -josh
@DrPiterarnett Certainly $2-300 will be too much for a lot of people. But for a high performance lightweight tent like that, they're usually in the $200 range. Tell me if I'm wrong, but those UMSC tents are somewhat heavier than the GoLite, right? So not exactly apples to apples. -josh
Nice review but did you state the floor dimensions? Would it work for someone 6'05"?
