  • fuck!! this is one of the best songs!! perfect..

  • faith no more rules too

  • am i really the 160,666th viewer? if so, that just made my day.

  • trent reznor is the antichrist

  • @James25H

    Uh.... no.

  • @edub77 listen to the lyrics in this song and hes talking about burning the whole world down

  • @James25H

You're not the Antichrist for wanting to burn the whole world down. Also, this song was created for a movie and the lyrics are appropriate for the main characters. And one last note, there is no such thing as an Antichrist.

  • @James25H Nope.avi

  • @flyboy2000008 yes he is

  • attention strippers! Im not a stripper... i would say a woman stripping to this song would be incredible. "Burn."

  • I'd love an instrumental version of this song, kinda wish I could ask Trent to hush

  • @roboticfaerie remix.nin.com just search for it you fucking bitch (jk)

  • @harmfulifconsumed It was there, thanks~!

  • love the drum beats

  • i fucking love Trent Reznor.

  • um wrong album cover

  • @maxdbz420 Burn is a b-side from the Downward Spiral, originally recorded for that album and during that era. While Trent put it on the Natural Born Killers soundtrack, it is considered part of TDS era (much like Apple of Sodom and ACSS by Marilyn Manson).

  • @awake352 it's also on the deluxe edition bonus disc for TDS.

  • My parents think that im angry and depressed because of the music I listen to, Yeah Im sure it has nothing to do with the fact that the world is completely fucked up and almost everybody else is brainwashed

  • @dudemanthingpersonww you are correct sir

  • @dudemanthingpersonww dude, you have no idea how whole-heartedly i agree

  • @dudemanthingpersonww Don't worry, you're fine--THEY'RE the ones with the problems. :D

  • *this song was not on this album* wtf

  • @ArdRiJJ same era.....

  • @ArdRiJJ Deluxe and European versions I believe.

  • Wow, my advertisement says "Earn a Bible Degree" Study the bible online. First off, what the hell will a bible degree get you? Nothing. Second off, why is this my advert on a NiN vidya?

  • @Fr3ak2313 I was watching atheist comedy and I got an ad for bible camp for disobedient kids

  • this is weird, maybe im just trippen, but, okay, i think there may be a hiss in the back left ear of headphones on this entire album.

  • @oftenlostinwhat maybe it's your headphones... i can't hear it :/

  • WTF... how dis I get here?

  • people talkin about KMFDM!? omfg i love them!.. or at least 2 songs anyway >.>

  • @OneNationUnderMe lol dude KMFDM is awesome i saw them live in 2009 and met frontman he was awesome :)

  • @ChildIncomplete omfg nicee :D not really a band i listen to all the time but really talented!

  • burns

  • who else sees a face in the cover of the album??

  • @Wesley683 once you said i saw like 5 lol

  • This worlds gonna have to pay... smh

  • Were those guitars or something?

  • I love the techno

  • I not only wrote Closer for Nine Inch Nails, but also Closer for the band I named Kings of Leon.

  • @Boddahism You must be very...very...close, then

  • @InSingularity Trent and I were close friends. He hung out with Kurt Cobain and myself from about '85. He flew to Alabama the day that Kurt killed himself to tell me in person. I was a wreck for months. Kurt was one of my closest friends and had been in my life since the age of 15. The songs that I made up for Trent were not about him, but an evolution of the songs I wrote for Prince's Purple Rain.

  • Inspiration for naming Evanescence and writing Like A Virgin for Madonna

"The only sad thing about a great night in the theater is its EVANESCENCE. When it's over, it's over. You can remember the performance forever, of course. But you can't re-create that VIRGIN sensation - that almost numbing exhilaration - of witnessing something NEW and different and exciting in the theater FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME." review of A Chorus Line by Frank Rich of The New York Times Oct 1, 1983

  • Incredible!!

The song describes every feeling I'm feeling right now.

  • this kind of music makes me let out all my anger

  • reznor is a sick bastard...

  • TY!!!!!

  • I really wonder whether there's any other 16 year old girls listening to this... XD

  • @WildKurtisTrent Hey :D

  • @WildKurtisTrent Wait you're a girl and you like nine inch nails? That is rare

  • @MrDinomite89 hehe yeah! But I'm not your regular "I'm so fragile girl"

  • @WildKurtisTrent God those types of girls can be exetremely annoying

  • @MrDinomite89 XDDDD

  • @WildKurtisTrent Three people agree with that statement too, that's three more than i usually get

  • @MrDinomite89 hehe C:

  • @WildKurtisTrent Me :)

Err, 17, actually, but hey, close enough.

  • @WildKurtisTrent I'm a 16 year old kid and all the girls call it "Noise". Fuck them, This is fuckin' awesome.

  • @WildKurtisTrent probably not...16 year old girls never listen to good music

  • @CaH6633 yeah... :/ sad.

  • @WildKurtisTrent F 16 and this NIN has been my fave band for 3 years now. :)

  • @forevertwilight47 yay! I'm no longer lonely!

  • @WildKurtisTrent I knew girls who were cool when they were 16-but overall girls like that tend to ignore anything that's not the flavor of the month unfortunatly

  • @GothGaara92 Hehe I see. Hopefully I'm not going to be like that!

  • Comment removed

  • @WildKurtisTrent ik a few lol but i wish more kids in the 13 - 20 region liked good music -_-

  • @ChildIncomplete yeah, I'm tired of people listening to brainless pop music!

  • @WildKurtisTrent ik the only pop that did not suck ass was the 80's DM mainly depeche mode

  • @ChildIncomplete Yea no kidding I'm 17 and I'm the only person in my school that knows what real music is...Its fucking sad.

  • @ZaarBloodletter666 ikr i wonder if kurt cobain is glad he died bc he prob would have gone on killing spree bc how much gay pop has taken over the world. I kind of wonder what his response 2 bieber would be and same for trent reznors lol

  • @ChildIncomplete I agree, music has gotten very nigger.

  • @ChildIncomplete *sigh* i know....Im very disappointed in my generation. >:l

  • @ChildIncomplete Incomplete you are, sir. Listen, I'll level with you.

Kurt Cobain was probably one of the most gifted literary minds, as far as music. He has relatively decent lyrics, and the way he sings packs a hell of a punch. But there are a crap-ton other artists with more meaning and more emotional impact than Cobain.

If He changed your life and way of thinking for the better, more power to you. But it would benefit you to expand your horizons a bit and seek beyond Him.

  • @bluephreakr well dude don't get me wrong i expand a lot i mean i listen to bands like Eminem Nickelback KMFDM NIN Nirvana Will Smith Depeche Mode all of which have a great message and i believe every band has a diff message and as fans we should find our own message i didn't mean 2 say nirvana was the grand daddy of best musical meaning bc many other bands surpass him.

  • @ChildIncomplete Frankly, I am surprised you responded favorably. It appears I am not speaking with an angsty emo 'tween who thinks one band rules over all.

Also, anyone who listens to KMFDM sucks in My book.

  • @bluephreakr well i'm not emo and KMFDM i not sure if u mean sucks in good way or bad way bc of how kmfdm always say they suck and it's like their thing lol THEY CONFUSE US WITH THIS! but no i like many many bands and i have ones who are favorites more so over the others but really it just depends on my mood but i appreciate and respect what they do all of them. and if i like what u do after few listens uk i will pop album in and listen 2 it through.

  • @ChildIncomplete KMFDM forever sucks <3

  • @bluephreakr Whats your problem with KMFDM?

  • @flyboy2000008 watch?v=V9-r8NZmbFE

  • @flyboy2000008 wtf is KMFDM?

  • @MetalDrummer776 If you are talking about the band then it's Kein Mehrheit Für Die Mitleid which means, No majority for the pity .

  • @ccwitt or Keep Madonna From Doing Music

  • @MetalDrummer776

Another Industrial band from the 80's/90's/00's and still very active to this day.

Look up the song Stray Bullet by them if you wanna hear one of their masterpieces.

KMFDM has done all sorts of genres like mixing Thrash Metal in with their songs like A Dug Against War which sounds like Rust In Peace era Megadeth or their song Godlike which is based off of Slayer's Angel of Death (especially the original "Chicago Trax" version of it) and plenty of other genres.

  • @MetalDrummer776

Also, saying "KMFDM SUCKS!" is any inside joke amongst KMFDM fans because KMFDM released a song "KMFDM - SUCKS" mocking their critics and the likes.

  • @WildKurtisTrent hello!

  • @WildKurtisTrent Yes there is. You're not as special as you think you are. Now shut the fuck up.

  • @chaotickittie03 sure sure darling

  • @chaotickittie03 Well said.

  • @WildKurtisTrent Haha I'm 15

  • @erinkailua yeaayyy! ;D

  • @WildKurtisTrent Yup I'm a sixteen year old girl and listening cos I fucking love it and always will no matter what anyone else thinks :D

  • @joanne2510 Awesomeeee! Lets make an army of 16 year old girls!

  • @WildKurtisTrent you are a disgrace for the female gender

  • @hotziiiaaa aw you make me sad :'(

Why is it I'm a disgrace?

  • I'm gay

  • @Boganator4 r u serious, or just being an asshole?

  • Trent Reznor showed up on the scene about '85, before he starred in Light of Day movie to help out on keyboards while I wrote songs. I wrote Head Like A Hole and Closer for him. I had just seen the movie Real Genius with Tom Cruise's friend Val Kilmer. There is a line in the movie Real Genius which I repeated to Trent. "Can you hammer a six inch spike...?" This was inspiration for the band name Nine Inch Nails. He thought the initials (NIN) would look good on a logo.

  • @Boddahism You said you wrote songs?

  • @Boganator4 Yes, I madeup a lot of songs.

  • @Boddahism Considering Amy Lee is 29, and was born in '81, I'm pretty sure you couldn't have written Head Like A Hole or Closer. So Please quit feed people false information.

  • @Caine504 The lead singer of Evanescence uses my name as her stagename and was a kid when I chose her to front the band which I named. Trent & I came up with the name of the band after I repeated a line from the movie Real Genius which had just been released when we met. Character Susan: Can you hammer a six-inch spike through a board with your....?" Six Inch Spike became Nine Inch Nails because the logo would have been SIS instead of NIN.

  • @Boddahism LOL bullshit

  • @Boddahism dude, one you know nothing about trent, two trent writes and records his own music all by himself, three you are some bs internet troll for spreading such lies

  • Comment removed

  • @Boddahism Where did you say you met him, as in what city?

  • @MrDinomite89 He was brought to Alabama. We worked in Birmingham's Boutwell Auditorium developing songs along with bands Def Leppard (friends of members of Lynyrd Skynrd), INXS (which Mutt Lange had produced albums for Australian band AC/DC as well as Def Leppard), Motley Crue, Michael Jackson (who is friends with Lionel Ritchie who went to Tuskegee in AL & formed the Commodores. MJ also brought his brothers to practice in Bham for the '84 Victory tour and he publicly visited my hometown).

  • @Boddahism Okay you seriously just making shit up now. Either you are mentally insane or the dumbest internet troll

  • @MrDinomite89 It was May 15, 1983 which Joe Elliott of Def Leppard discovered me at Boutwell Auditorium. You should look up the history of Def Leppard and you will find that they were in Birmingham, AL at Boutwell on that date. You also might find out that Joe Elliott canceled several dates of the tour in June of '83 claiming a sore throat when actually it was to work with me on songs. I had started working on Pour Some Sugar On Me using Aerosmith's song..."Step inside, WALK THIS WAY"

  • @Boddahism that may be so but what does this have to do with trent reznor or nine inch nails?

  • @MrDinomite89 Trent was one of many new artist who were brought to meet me over the years. Trent's expertise were required for the many songs I wrote. Tommy Lee of Motley Crue, Kurt Cobain and I would perform the songs for a small crowd of artist while working out the kinks on the songs. The recording artist I worked with also were investing in the film industry. Joan Jett and Michael J. Fox starred in the film Light of Day ('87) with Trent in the film.

  • If Columbine had a theme song this would be it. lol

  • @pdanaher8 actually if you look it up on wiki its on the deluxe version which is what it says in the description

  • My God....I'd let Trent Reznor fuck the shit out of me...and I'm not even gay, bro.

  • This is NOT from the downward spiral btw...

  • @DpPuppyKicker If you notice, in the info, the album listed is The Downward Spiral Deluxe Edition, which it was on.

  • I have this album.

But I need the deluxe edition.

    For this very reason.

  • I can understand that this music certainly won't be to everyone's taste.

That makes it all the sweeter, however, when you kill them while listening to it.

  • @spankrod

Too much bother when having to clean up; best plant the misery to have them do it themselves.
