Meryl, Nicole and Julianne were at the top of their game--imagine Meryl at the top of her game! Nicole deserved the award but I think they all could have easily gotten it, that is how good the collective performance was by the men, the boy and the assembled cast of great actresses.

With a stroke of genius, the director wove Mrs Dalloway masterfully into the plot. Every moment was intense.

Some make movies and some make masterpieces. The Hours is a masterpiece! Breathtakingly so!
