It's a shame the crappy Nanostray games are the only shooters on the system, besides the Ketsui demo. I'd take Iridion 2 over either of these. At least it has good music.

I simply cannot beat this game .. Even on easy mode, this game is fairly hard. Only legendary pilots can beat the game in hard mode.

Hopefully last comment on this vid, anyone reminded of Gradius V? Watch the beginning of the 1st level of this then GV and they're almost identical. Perhaps they were paying homage?

although the game might have been worth alot, it seems rubbish, nanostray 1 has better graphics and its more exciting, Nanostray has been and will always be my favorite arcade shooter for DS

It's nice to see someone defending the first game, I don't really know why so many reviewers have given Nanostray 1 so much stick I think it's a pretty good shooter, but for me the second one does look like a back-to-basics type of game and I think it was good of them to release something in a slightly different vein for the second installment. The first one is great though, I suggest everyone gives it a chance, the second one is just more my kind of thing.

I hated the first game simply because I couldn't tell what was going on half the time and the awkward POV meant I couldn't tell what was the background and foreground. Had it stuck to the traditional horizontal or vertical views like thsi game I suspect it would've been much more fun.

nanostray 1 is way better thsn this one i think. in nanostray 1 you can save anytime u wantand u dont have to beat a whole area like in nanostray 2 to save. you can switch different weapons in nanostry 1. the enemies are more detailed and the bosses look way cooler. BUT nanostray 2 gives more of a challenge, which i like
