I failed a jump once, it was in The Village, the area where there's the GAU - 19, one of my opponents was hanging on a ledge and I was up there, then I jumped to the other ledge, and while I was in midair he pulled me down! But then I killed him amazingly with shotgun and I got the Retaliation medal...

i did, look at the total score. It just suck because i got pull by the enemy even though i dodge the grab. its like the enemy's hand has a magnetic grab. that's my first death on that match..

Unless you're playing LAN, playing over the internet will always have these kinds of oddities. While you dodged for a split second on your screen, they might have press square before that and it took almost a half second to register on yours. This is also why so many people kill each other with guns / melee in this game, Halo, Killzone, etc.
